Locker Soccer Academy, Powell OH

We had heard good things about Locker Soccer and booked a trial for our little one. I can’t imagine it going more poorly! It was a full construction zone- the volume was incredibly loud. Drills, circular saws, nail guns- which is understandable as there is a significant project on going. But it was too much for most of the little ones present and felt like a pretty huge oversight with a class for three year olds going on. Just postpone the class! Especially at the price point per class… The Coach made no effort to engage or welcome the children and instead stood on her phone. I guess she was subbing- which I only know because a child attempting to engage her finally just asked for the regular coach. There wasn’t anywhere for siblings or families to stand back or sit down- as there were piles of the requisite supplies for the construction job going on. Again understandable- again just postpone! My little one was so terrified that I wouldn’t ever take us back. I feel as thought these type of activities should build confidence and independence in a child and this feels like it set us back and left my child startled.

Our 8 year old son loves Locker Soccer! He takes weekly lessons and really enjoyed the soccer camp during the winter break. He also looks forward to Fridays when he gets to play 3vs3. It’s been so fun to watch him improve so much this past year and find a sport he loves!

Locker Soccer is awesome. Dave is so good with the kids and the fields are brand new. They are even upgrading the facility which we’re really excited about. Highly recommend!

My boys have grown up at Locker Soccer and they have really enjoyed this place! The staff has been influential with my son’s continued interest in soccer. Now since their move with increased training space, the kids can get lots of practice time all year round. We are also big fans of the Friday night 3 on 3 pick-up games.truly a fun night for kids. I highly recommend checking it out!

I have a 4 year old and 6 year old, and locker soccer has been a god send during the winter months. The coaches are fun and classes are focused on age group specific skills. Our kids love this place, and we can’t wait to come back next winter!
