Loew Park reviews
9Fun park nestled right off broadview rd in old brookly. Baseball field. Swings free movies and a pool/spray park during the summer.
This beautiful area has underwent many changes within the past few years. A great site to go for a walk, bring your children, or dogs. It has a tennis court, several ball fields, a park on each end, small aerobic work out site, and they're building a multi sport outdoor facility near the school. There's plenty to do, and enjoy here. Lastly, there's a pavilion near the one end for a sheltered gathering area. However there is no grill, so bring pre-cooked food, great for a picnic!
Great place for the kids 2 Ball Diamonds swing set with rubber floor monkey bars sliding boards all on rubber including Jiffy John for restroom
Picked up the kids at the pool and getting ready for the summertime Old Brooklyn baseball games
My only issue is I couldn't find the hours for the pool. We went to movie night. It's great for kids. Very safe. They have a pool, splash park, jungle gym, baseball fields, on site parking, a pavilion, and paved walkways. The movie night is every Tuesday, and it's free of charge. Honey Hut serves icecream, and they have popcorn and drinks. Great time for the family.
I love this park. Clean, safe, making more improvements. Something to be said for having homes all around the park, always eyes looking, just gives you a feeling that your never alone. I just hope they add more lighting along the walkways for eveng Dog walking.
Got a ticket for parking in handicap to off load baseball equipment was not happy. Officer blocked in car to write citation was not happy for that either. Which has now caused me to have bad feelings about a park I used to love
Granddaughter had fun made new friends. City worker was there picking up trash keeping the area CLEAN. Will return more when summer comes in.
