Lorain County Metro Parks High Meadows Shelter #1, Elyria OH

Great place for a picnic or small gathering, kids play areas, clean restrooms, calm and quite location.

Nice park, with several pavilions for dining and cooking out.
A few playgrounds for kids and a mice paved trail to walk.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the serenity and peace I feel in this place when jogging the trail. I never feel threatened by other patrons, just a friendly environment!

Very pretty park. Three shelters, playground, restrooms. Access to beautiful, rolling 10-mile trail to the Lake at the mouth of the Black River.

This place is just beautiful. We not only enjoyed our dinner, we also had deer roaming around. Nature is fantastic!

Fall is in bloom and the leaves are changing colors. This park a great park to see some beautiful fall foliage.

Nice clean park with a very large picnic shelter and grills. Bathrooms were clean. Did not use the playground but it was nice.

The metroparks are great, I love them. This one has a nice path that takes you to a cool bridge, that goes over the Black River.

Great playground equipment for kids, clean and well kept trails, and even the rangers and maintenance staff always wave and are polite!

Nice pavilions and walking trail. Kids playground. Bathrooms good if unlocked. Ranger is a stickler.

I love these parks. Great trail that's well taken care of and nice and wide. Perfect for my half marathon training.
