4 Like others here, I would give zero stars if possible. This utility is outright breaking federal regulations on public utility companies. 1) they are charging for equipment customers do not own 2) they are charging for installations of equipment on THEIR SIDE of the ownership demarcation lines 3) they are charging for services not performed by separating inflow and outflow expenses and continuing to charge for garage removal on completely unoccupied premises.
Any one of these offenses can and should trigger a federal audit and possibly a forced privatization of ALL Lorain City utilities. Don't just take it, folks.
My bill is always due on the 17th, May I paid my Bill on the 18th through the phone, there was No mention of a $15 late fee for paying ONE day late at that time, tell me why today June 2nd I Receive a disconnect notice saying I owe my current bill (that’s not due until the 17 of this month) IMMEDIATELY plus a $15 late fee or they are shutting off my water. I call them n tell them my bill is current so what’s this disconnect letter abt? They say it’s because of the $15 late fee they gave me for being one day late and that they never even told me they had given me! Ridiculous
I'd give them no stars if I could! No help whatsoever. I'm filing a complaint! Even after explaining that the bill was paid they said they wouldn't turn it on because you're supposed to call before 1pm. No one ever told them this and they didn't care Even though there are children in the house. And they wanted $100 on top of the bill being paid for emergency turn on. But you still have to call before 4pm. What is someone supposed to do that works until 5pm? You people are greedy, uncompassionate people.
Trying to fix a water break most cities cover to the house they don’t that’s fine but the lack of communication and miscommunication has delayed me 6 hours today already as I write this due to there misinformation that was passed onto me spent 30 mins waiting at the permit office and only got someone as they went to go to the bath room horrible experience all around
