Lucky Cat Museum by appt. reviews
12 As a Cincinnati resident, I was thrilled to finally have the chance to visit the Lucky Cat Museum on my recent visit to the ArtWalks event at Essex Studios. Being that the museum does not advertise much, I was grateful to have learned about it through a friend's recommendation. Despite its small size, the museum truly packs a punch with an impressive collection that is sure to captivate visitors. From the moment I walked in, I was in awe of the array of lucky cat figurines, paintings, and other works of art that filled the space. Each item is a testament to the owner's passion and devotion to this fascinating aspect of Asian culture.
As I made my way through the museum, I found myself continuously discovering new and unique pieces. I was pleasantly surprised to find a gift shop on my way out, offering a selection of affordable souvenirs that would make great gifts for family and friends. Overall, I was thoroughly impressed with my visit to the Lucky Cat Museum and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to immerse themselves in a fascinating cultural experience. Don't forget to bring some cash as donations are accepted and greatly appreciated!
The mewseum was amazing! I loved the huge variety of types of lucky cats and learning more about the history and meanings behind all the kitties. Thank you for inspiring me to keep collecting
The collection was very exquisite. If you are a cat person this will be your heaven. The owners are polite and are passionate. Not your typical Museum.
This is amazing if you like this kind of stuff. There are so many lucky cats it's not funny. Area is a little sketchy so lock your car good haha but def worth seeing
Such a cute museum! It may look small on the outside, but it's packed full of gorgeous art, figurines, and so much more. Could easily spend several hours looking at all of the beautiful things and speaking to the lovely owner Micha. Cute gift shop with reasonably priced goodies and nice bathrooms in the building. Highly recommend!:)
This place is awesome! It’s pretty small but there are SO many cats here. They are all different and there are a lot of unique pieces. The owner was super nice and was more than happy to share information about all the cats. Is not very big, but we spent about an hour here. Just be aware that you need to make an appointment before visiting. Highly recommend!
This museum is so cool and one of a kind! The owner lady was so sweet. Will definitely be returning
Amazing! Loved it. Owner was super nice. I think i said wow about 100x. Wal to wall lucky cats.
Nice small museum hidden inside a gallery building. It has a big variety of cats. The owner is nice and did not push me to buy anything. Make sure to make appointments first.
Amazing museum for its small size. It contains many lucky cats for people to view and many types from modern to ancient. The owner is also really nice and the gift shop is great too.
Super cute place and very fun! The people there are friendly and knowledgeable about the exhibit! Interactive, free fortune cookie, a cute little gift shop too! Does not take very long to read and look through everything but it’s very neat! I had a lot of fun even though it’s small, it was still worth the trip:)
This was a gem of a museum! The collection is so much more than I expected. The reach of the lucky cat as an international icon is well captured in this exhibit. So worth a stop to see for any traveler.
