Mackey Auto Care, Akron OH

I was getting ready to go on a trip. But i forgot to get my truck looked at until the last minute. I called Mackey they had me an appointment an hour later. I dropped off my truck for inspection and tune up. They called me 2 hours later telling it was ready for pick-up im not going anywhere else from now on.

Took my truck in and Wes was awesome and the service manager Jay gave me helpful tips on my car maintenance

So this place had really good ratings so I felt like I could drop my car off and with new part and it would come back repaired and I would have no problems at all and be happy but I was wrong about that 6 months later the part that I thought was repaired on my car that they were supposed to replace was never replaced now they want me to bring my Car that does not run back to them after having it 2 months for them to take care of it oh and owner Said if I bring the part he won't charge me labor so I'm out $600 and my car is broke down THANK YOU MACKEY

Always great customer service as well as quality work. Business hours are posted but they went above and beyond.

-I brought my car to two Mercedes dealerships North Olmsted and Ganley and they could figure out why my radiator fan was constantly running on high.

Both dealerships wanted me to spend thousands to replace everything.

I brought my Benz down to Mackey to look at a few different issues I was told was wrong and Mackey and saved thousands.

More importantly the problem two Dealerships couldn’t figure out Mackey did.

Very friendly staff and the tech had patience’s with me explaining to me what was wrong and the procedure how to fix it.

I’ve brought my car here a before for brakes and pump.

I will continue to use Mackey auto for there professionalism, expert service and problem solving and there reasonable pricing.

Be careful the 2 owners (brothers) calm and friendly demeanor will calmly bite your pockets at anytime. Charged me $700 misdiagnosed the problem on my 2016 dodge grand caravan 3.6 there was no cracked plastic upper intake. It was a miss and it was internal motor related if they would have scanned the car properly and looked at the Livestream data, it would say what cylinders were misfiring and also tell a person what specs were on the cam and crank sensors, etc and matched them up. So I basically was out $700 and took the van home. They wanted to charge me 2600 after that.

Mackey Auto Care took very great care of my car. They have great customer service great communication when it comes to whats wrong with the vehicle and how they are going to help.

They were friendly and they diagnosed my problems and gave me solutions to the issues. I would recommend them again.

They are awesome! Very friendly, knowledgeable, with great customer service. They literally stopped working in a vehicle to assess mine bc I was nervous to drive it. Super fair quote. Will most definitely go back for all my car repair needs. Highly recommend Mackey auto!

I am an employee of a reputable salvage yard. Mackey purchased a number of parts from us and bounced over $4000 worth of checks on us that has of yet been resolved since last year. We have been in touch with other yards in our network to warn vendors of this situation, just to learn that 4 major vendors have also been burned by Mackeys! If he treats his auto part vendors like this, just imagine what shady business they are conducting "servicing" their customers vehicles!

Quality technician's knowledgeable about most foreign and domestic autos they will try to have you on your way as quickly as possible for a decent price

Called them today and got scared off first words out of there mouth bring it down it's probably going to be 2.000 dollars wow for a sensor no that's crazy and a great way to freak out customers off the bat.
