Madison Country Club

This is not something that I wanted to write, but it’s deserving of notice. My buddy and I have played Madison Country Club weekly almost the entire year. We have been coming here for years in general. When I got to the course the other day there was a mixup in conversation somehow. I was told they could honor the GolfNow pricing, but instead they wanted to charge me $39 instead of $32. So I talked to the owner and she acted like she never saw me before. Which was odd because she always seemed nice to me. So instead of honoring the $32 which was previously agreed to, she told me they are not honoring anything. So I walked out and I will never be back. My friends and family are also disgusted because of this story and they said they will not be back and will let other people know as well. Way to be asleep at the wheel Madison Country Club. You just lost a ton of business. Customer service is everything to me and so is loyalty. And I for one, will not be playing at this golf course again. There is no loyalty in this world anymore and they lost a lifetime customer because of $7.

Staff were pleasant, personable, and the highlight of the course. The course conditions were poor, the greens were horrible. A few were burnt up, bumpy, it looks like they aerated recently. Sand traps are mud traps, no sand at all.

Weekends charging $59 plus a $2 administrative fee. Course is not in good condition. Greens expecially bad. Spend some money on the course.

Perfect place to host our first annual memorial outing for a dear friend. The course was extremely helpful in ensuring everything went without a hitch. The staff was incredibly helpful every step of the way. We sold out with 32 groups and were able to play in around 4.5 hours. The course itself was in incredible shape! Thanks again.

I always enjoy this wonderful old layout but the pace of play is horrendous. The ranger did absolutely nothing to speed up play with 2 + holes open in front of the slow group

I played in a scramble there a few weeks ago. It's a very nice, mature, well-maintained course.

Me and a group were enjoying playing here when a worker (which may have been the owner) was waiting for us at our next hole. He said our pace of play was to slow and he has people calling and “bitching” about us. There was only 1 group behind us and they were 2 holes behind us. He then told us to skip the hole we were about to play and go to the next one. We weren’t horsing around having poor golf etiquette. This is extremely unprofessional for a “country club”.

Very well managed. The course is meticulously maintained and the staff is extremely helpful and friendly.

We had a great time. The course was in good shape. We found the holes challenging, but not hard. There was not a lot of water, but there was sand guarding most if not all of the greens. We received a free course book, it was informative and I used it every hole. The pro shop had a great selection of apparel. They had food for sale, and drinks inside. The only drawback was there was no alcohol available. I hope to be back soon.

Played 18 holes at Madison CC today. Very enjoyable golfing experience. Friendly pro shop staff. Well groomed golf course and a nice challenge for any golfer

Great course. Well maintained.hope they get the liquor license thing fixed, needed a beer couldn't buy one.

Courses in fantastic shape! Fairways are cut rough cut greens are rolling really good and look great. Patient play was outstanding. Highly recommend really enjoyed it
