Mancy's Bluewater Grille reviews
16I was visiting the Toledo area for work and took a client to dinner at Mancy's and it was fantastic. The food was incredible, great wine selection, and most importantly - the client left happy.
260 dollars total for our meal 40 dollar tip included:
It’s kinda nice inside food sucked slow service way over priced I should have just went to red lobster
This place has been around for a long time and for good reason. The seafood dishes are beautifully done.there is an elegant air about the place without being at all stuffy. Service is serene and quietly attentive. I don't think it gets much better than this for a reasonably priced seafood experience.
Wait staff and environment were ready. Disappointed in the crab stuffed shrimp. It was dry and rubbery.
We went for lunch and it was great. Service was outstanding, thank you Lexi! The good food and good service does come with a higher price tag.
Really enjoyed the evening at Mancy's Bluewater. Great staff really kept up with everything we could have needed. Great seafood. Good beer selection and mixed drinks.
Great atmosphere, we usually head to the bar and start off with a few cocktails & oysters and try something from the Happy Hour menu. I've never been disappointed yet.
Enjoyable dining experience. Good food, great atmosphere and nice and quiet. Love dining in peace. Ordered Fish and Chips which was very good. Surprisingly large potion. My wife ordered the Chilean Sea Bass which she described as delicious. Deserts were fantastic as well. Homemade Raspberry Sorbet that I almost couldn't finish since the serving was so large. Powered through it though since it was exquisite. Key lime pie was also scrumptious. Oops.almost forgot to mention our waitress Alexus. Super nice, efficient and fun to talk with. We were on a cross country road trip heading back home when we stopped here. One of the top ten restaurants in our trip. Not cheap, but worth it.
We used to go here often. Then stopped a few years ago because the food had really degraded. Tried it again. Nope. The Maryland crab cakes had an unusual spice. My daughter (who lives in Maryland) loves crab cakes. She couldn’t finish them. The tenderloin tips appetizer were like a mushy piece of cheap meat disguised in your grandma’s creamy gravy. The mussels were decent. Nothing close to the mussels at Souk downtown. The drinks were good. And the bread. And it was fun to have sticky rice on the menu.
I will wait another few years before trying again.
First time here. It was an excellent 1 year anniversary dinner. Thank you dion for the perfect service and being so kind!
Went based off of reviews of their crab cakes. Several people said just as good as east coast. In my opinion not even close to east coast. Chef might have had a bad night but they were heavily salted and almost zero flavor. Too much filler that wasn’t quite done. I would go back. The shrimp cocktail was heavenly and the baked potato was hot and well cooked. Service was outstanding.
Great experience! Excellent service and food. Great drink menu. Good place for a date night or outing with friends.
I always want to like this place and always come away mildly disappointed. The food is just mediocre. Cute space, good drinks, nice enough service. Need to zuzh the food. Take it up a notch. Flavor, presentation, quality, quantity.
Such a wonderful establishment! Great service! Great atmosphere! And of course, great food!
You can tell this is a high end place to eat. We got a gift card so that is why we went. There wasn't any options on the menu for me except a salad and add chicken because I don't eat seafood. The bread was really delicious that they serve. My daughter loved the crab cakes.
Everything was delicious, but my dad ordered surf and turf. His lobster came out half cooked. We told the waitress, and they brought out another one. He had to wait a while. The Martini's are awesome, and they are filled to the rim, so well worth the price.
