I adopted a dog thru the Morrow County dog shelter several years ago. I was able to take her home but she still needed to be fixed. Maple Run was the vet associated with the Shelter. I dropped my new furr baby off in the morning and picked her up in the late afternoon. She was seeping blood from her incision. They didn't seem to care. They offered no pain meds in conjunction with surgery so I paid extra for those. Any human or animal, after getting cut open for a major surgery, needs some form of pain management. I work in the Healthcare field so I knew what to do to take care of her and I took her to my local vet for follow up. Maple Run doesn't care about the animals.it seems they're more about the money. Would never use them again nor recommend them.

Maple Run always treats our family pets with love & care. They listen to our concerns, and help us determine the best course of action to treat our critters.

My first time there was great! Everyone one very nice n the vet had a lil chz wiz trick n neither one of my pitty pups even realized what was going on during their shots! They also clipped their nails n they were wonderful! Pups were perfectly content the entire time! I had two pups getting wellness checks, nails done, their shots, including rabies, and deworming meds to take home and for TWO pups it was under $140. I go back in 3 weeks for another round and I want to have them chipped too sometime! Thank u maple run! We appreciate u!

They saved my dog's life a few years ago after he was misdiagnosed by another vet.

I have been taking my border collies to Maple Run for over 30 years now. Always a great visit with Dr. Mooney and all the staff. Helpful, informed, and they know how to handle animals to put them at ease in the situation. Bring on the cheez whiz!

Unfortunately I had to have my 15 yr old dog put down. Everyone at the office was kind and really seemed to care. They explained everything to me. I think Maple Run Veterinary Clinic and staff are awesome. Yes I would go here again and would definitely recommend them. Thank you all so much for everything.

Kinda upset with this place right now. We came here with our cat because she had a urinary tract infection. We knew this beforehand and last night we sat here for an hour only for them to tell us the same thing. They told my husband who was the only one who went in with the cat (because of covid precautions) to bring her back this morning. They also gave him a price of around $200 I had to bring her in the morning because he was busy at work. So I had basically no real idea of the conversation that he had with doctors.
Fast forward to this morning, I bring our cat in, they bring a paper out to my car as they also pick her up. I just assumed it was a paper discussed the night before because my name was on it as well as my husband. It asks for checks on urinalysis, blood work, and fecal tests. The worker does not discuss prices or any of that type of thing which made me again think it was paperwork discussed with my husband the night before.
I (being in the car waiting for an hour the night before) didn't know what was discussed or if any papers were already signed, checked yes on the urinalysis and blood work. No on the other because she was an indoor cat. She then says to pick her up later that day.
We all as a family picked her up a while ago. The price for pickup was nearly double! Ummm HELLO? This was a shock to the husband and I. We only budgeted for $200.
**came to find out the blood work was not needed (which they made it sound) **only optional**which the worker never said to me**they refused to give a refund, only an "oh well"

We just lost our Saint Benard after 9 years. The vet and staff were very sympathetic when we made our decision to put her to sleep. Great place to take your pets, we still have two more animals and wouldn't dare take our babies anywhere else. Thank you Doc and your staff, you guys have always been there when we needed you.

They have been GREAT every time i have been there. Both with our sick boy and our health check exam for our curious stray girl we took in.
Pricing is fair and they discus everything, your options, and the pricing before doing anything so that you are not suprised by an outrageous bill.
We love all of the staff

My cat has only been to the vets maybe 3-4 times in her life. You all did such a good job. It went better than I thought it would. Thank you.

As a pet owner and goat breeder, I highly recommend Dr. Mooney and her staff. They’re professional and extremely knowledgeable, but more than that, they’re caring and compassionate which means just as much when dealing with animals who are a part of your family. Whether it’s explaining a condition or following up on your pet’s care after an appointment or procedure, they go above and beyond. We’ve been long term clients and couldn’t be happier or more appreciative of all they do!

If I could give a 0/5 stars I would. I am not one to EVER leave a review on anything.however, I feel like I need to make one to warn others. We have always taken our pets to Maple Run, so do several of our family members with their beloved pets as well. We never had any problems with them. However, that all changed a few weeks ago. We got back from a vacation and came home to our 15 year old cat sounding congested. He was eating, acting totally normal other than wheezing a bit (on and off) when he would breathe. It almost sounded like his “purr” was broken. We immediately took him in. Due to COVID-19 they put us in a room, the vet tech came in and asked the typical questions and then said that the doctor didn’t want to be in a room with us face to face because of the virus. I respected that, no problem. The tech took our cat, walked into the back literally for 15 seconds, I swear she must have walked in, made a 180 degree turn and walked back out and said that our cat was getting too stressed and so the vet was going to come into the room. The vet came into the room, took my cats temperature and did absolutely nothing else. She petted him and looked at me dead in the eye and said “you know, it might just be his time.he is an older cat. ” She said that his breathing issues *might* be caused by an upper respiratory infection so she prescribed him an antibiotic and proceeded to explain that I needed to prepare the family that his time is just up and that she had to put one of her dogs down when her daughter went to college. Why she was telling me this, I didn’t know or understand and I still don’t. She acted like she didn’t care and wanted me out as fast as possible. I said thanks, and we left. As we got home and days go by as he’s on this antibiotic he would be okay for a few days and then go down hill and each time he seemed to have a new symptom. One morning we woke up and noticed that it was as if he couldn’t see anything. So, we decided to take him to MedVet in Columbus. There it was confirmed that he had a tumor in his sinuses, his vision was gone and our next step would be an MRI and a rhinoplasty. Due to him having an extraordinary life, him being the best little cat anyone could have ever asked for we decided to not put him under the stress and pressure of this. The doctor at MedVet, along with all of the staff were absolutely amazing and after looking at it all and talking to everyone we made the decision to let him go home to Jesus where his suffering would be no more. What made me angry was that after talking to the vet he explained that any normal vet while taking a typical exam should have easily caught the tumor and that there was a chance it could have been caught before it caused the other issues it did. Maple Run was almost worried about getting me out of there as quick as possible and before even really examining him told me that he was just old and that his time had come. After talking to several people after my own experience I am realizing that this is a normal thing with Maple Run and many advise to stay away from them. This makes me sad, because I always loved them. But unfortunately, I will never again step foot into the clinic again and I will advise everyone else to do the same. I believe that everything is in God’s hands and maybe Maple Run catching the tumor wouldn’t have changed the outcome, but knowing that there was ever a chance for the tumor to be discovered earlier but it didn’t due to “laziness” is heartbreaking. But, I find peace knowing that my baby is in heaven with Jesus now and I can’t change the past. However, I can be an advocate and warn people.
