Marco's Pizza reviews
19Love the pizza, subs, breadsticks, and cinnabar bread. Only downside is I order on line for pickup. Used to be able to pick a time for pickup. Now can only pick a time for delivery. Is this an on line issue? If so it needs fixed ASAP.
Been getting pizza elsewhere for a long time because it just wasn’t good. Happy to say they are back. New management, new staff and a great product. Welcome back
Been coming here for years. Occasional hiccup. They'll make it right tho. Otherwise consistently good product.
I usually get BBQ no onions large pizza or chicken club, being New to the area from Defiance, it's nice to get a Smile, Everyone so far has been Great! Today Carol n Tammy were Funny and Great! I will be back!
Steak Hoagie with cooked onions, green peppers, mushrooms. However, instead of green peppers, whoever made my sandwich put green olives on it. I had to remove them from my sandwich. The spicy Bar-B-Q wings were very good. I usually order a thin crust pepperoni pizza; this was my first time ordering the hoagie and wings. I had leftovers for dinner for lunch.
Changes have occurred. 5 stars a year ago. Quality of ingredients & preparation have shifted down. Used to be one of our favorites. However, the few times we've had them since posting a 5 star review a year ago, they've fallen off. The pizza dough is a lot of bread-like consistency & bland bread-like taste. IF it tasted more like pizza dough verses bread, it'd be better in that alone. The old world pepperoni is still good.
Marco's pizza at Rugby is always a tasty treat! The staff is upbeat, kind, and concerned about getting your order right! Perfect!
Always have great service and hot food. The delivery drivers rule, especially the one girl who delivered in a total downpour, still with a smile on her face! Best pizza and service.
Marcos used to be one of my favorites, but feel as if quality and service has been lacking. The past couple trips have been not great. Our cinnabread had so much cinnamon dumped on it, that it was literally inedible. The pizza before last was literally burnt.and hard and pizzas subsequently after has been soft and soggy with grease. The pizzas were so greasy that it was literally like a grease pool standing in middle of pizza and the pepperoni pizza had grease in every pepperoni that was quite excessive.like mini grease pools, we tried to take paper towels and soak up repeatedly.but pizza crust bottom, was so filled with grease and was so soggy that we literally could not eat. I called store on both occasions, manager did nothing, just acted like I was lying and told me thanks for calling and hung up. When we had delivered, the left sub, bread and dipping success and our 2 litter at store and just delivered the pizzas, I called store to tell them and they didn't have a driver able to get back out and I couldn't leave to go grab, so they were supposed to put in my account to have replaced when I went in next time, because I paid for and never received.well next time I went in to get.wouldn't you know, it was never noted pr put on my account.so they refused to replace. In that visit, I called ahead, went to go grab food and they had pizza, cheesy bread sitting there, but never even made my Italian sub! I had to wait for a sub to be made and cooked, while my other food just sat there.and to top that off, I paid for additional sauces (1 comes with it) and the guy argued with giving it to me! Said they were only supposed to give 1 sauce, I had to repeatedly tell him that I PAID for the extra sauces.he finally reluctantly gave them to me. I was floored. There has been multiple problems as of lately, but I'll stop review here lol
We order from this location 2-3 times per month. Pick-up orders are done in the same time it takes us to drive there usually! Delivery is 25-45 minutes depending on the evening. Food is always made correctly and the staff are always friendly and helpful.
In the evenings be sure you're going to get the worst, sloppy pizza you've ever had. Can't ask for well done, they'll forget it. Toppings tossed on however. Now, whoever makes pizza in the morning/afternoon makes a great pizza, I love when I get food at that time. But I'm tired of spending my money on slapped together food at night. Whats the point in spending my money if I can't get what I asked for?
I believe that I ordered my last pizza at the Rugby location. The quality of their product and the employees handling the orders on the phone have significantly dropped over the last year or two. I’m not sure who is managing this location, however, it’s clear that training is an issue.
Horrible management and service. Was told 45 minutes and called after over an hour only to be given attitude by the manager through her associate. Waited almost 90 minutes for a 45 minute order. Will not be ordering from this location again.
Absolute worst delivery guy in the world. Do not ask the Guy Fieri lookin dude for change.he throws big fit about not having it when he clearly did. Completely ignoring the fact i was trying to give him a bigger tip. Do you
have change for a 20? Look at the total and think about that question, the total is 20.95 and I'm asking for change for a $20. I wasn't asking you to break the $20. Company policy you're not allowed to tell people you have $13 on you? !? !? Really? Never again.
Very disappointed, ordered 3 pizzas and a bread and it said 43 mins for delivery. Thats fine, well and hr goes by so we called and was on hold for 5 mins. Finally someone comes on and we ask about our order that its been over an hr. He said the driver left 11 mins ago. Ok cool so it should be any min then bc we literally r 1/2 a mile down the road. Nope, it was another 25 mins before they showed up. So we waited over an hour and half for our order and 2 of our pizzas were cold bc it was thin crust. I was very disappointed that it took an hour and a half. If it was gonna be past the time then someone should have called to let u know they r running behind or short staffed or something. I will never order pizza here again. And I tipped when I paid, $7 tip on top of $4 delivery fee. Well guess I learned my lesson on that one.
I called and waited on hold for 10min. So I hung up and called back and when I was told I was going to be placed on hold. I told the person “I already have been on hold for 10min. “ she said Well there’s only 2 of us working” Well guess what there are more pizza places than Marcos. Never again!
When I first start going to this location their food was really good the pizzas were well-made And look like what the picture looks like, as of late they have fallen off. The delivery drivers are awesome with great attitudes. Just work on quality. Dorr St. (University) Is the best location in the city.
Normally this store provides me with the most delish pizza. Today not so good. I ordered extra sauce on both pizza’s, Roma on one crust and parmigian on the other. No extra sauce no crust topper.
I wish I could give zero stars. Don’t order from this location especially. There was a huge piece of plastic with sharp edges BAKED INTO the breadsticks we were delivered. The manager offered to give us “free bread sticks next time”. There won’t be a next time. Thanks a lot for the plastic dinner, Marcos.
