Marc's, Mentor OH

This place has went downhill since it's first opened, expired food on shelf's and not just little expired like 2020 expired. Store was absolutely disgusting filth. Floors were horrible, dust on products and shelves. Will not return again.

Absolutely disgusting! Store is covered in filth. Make sure to check expiration dates on EVERYTHING. A lot of expired food being sold. Very rude staff

What you see here is decaying organic matter coming from the trash compactor behind the building. The smell is so strong that it can be smelled from the entrance of the parking lot. When brought to the manager, Tom, he got a bad attitude and walked away. No accountability. This is hazardous to breathe. If the outside of the building is in this condition, what does the inside of their stock room possibly look like?

I will remove this review if the issue is adequately resolved.

I did not appreciate my family being subjected racial profiling on 08/06/23 during the morning shift. A family member picked up a pair of headphones (off the shelf - not in a box), later deciding not to purchase, another family member placed them on another shelf not knowing where they originally came from, but in close vicinity. As we checked out 2 women with nasty attitudes approached us at the register
with an empty box accusing us of stealing. My family member showed them where the headphones were placed. No apologies given for them being wrong, embarrassing my family, and continually watching us as we left the store.

Willoughby Marc's is just Horrible, I Had to Wait at the Deli for 47 Minutes Because they had KNOW ONE TO WORK THERE! And The Willoughby Store is Always OUT OF a lot of Things, The Mentor Marc's is Never Out of Anything, Go To Mentor!

Good store. Decent prices and they have a lot of great deals in their seasonal section. For the most part, everyone is very friendly and helpful. However, I swear one of the qualifications Marc's has to work there customer service desk is to be extremely unfriendly and unhelpful. I don't understand why they keep these people working customer service.

Customer service is either rude or they ignore you, this is in the evening shift at least. Other then that the store has alot of options

It's an older Marc's store, but it has everything. And store personnel are helpful & pleasant. For me, most importantly, it's the only Marc's store that has rotisserie chicken LOADED with paprika. Fantastically flavorful. Two cooked chicken breasts cost between $4.50 and $7.50, depending on how large they are. So worth it. Every time I'm at that store, I walk out with at least 4 trays with two breasts inside. No other nearby Marc's has a rotisserie, so this Marc's is my Marc's forever.

Would give a 0 if possible. Making employees work on New Year’s Day to do/prepare for inventory is incredibly heartless. Our twins won’t see their grandparents this holiday season now. Go somewhere else! Do not give this place your business. They treat their employees like garbage.

Store sells expired dairy products. Fruits has mold and when I contact maneger she told me if you have problem at our store you are welcome to go to another store next time and never offer refund. This store had another manager about 3 years ago and store was great.
