Marc's Stores, Brooklyn OH

Well stocked even during this crisis. Thank you for opening early for the elderly. But now I think the cashiers should be wearing masks, as the people I saw restocking the shelves were.

I was there on a busy Sunday recently, I waited about 35 minutes in line to pay for my groceries all the lines were backed up to the end of the aisles so everyone was waiting quite awhile to get out. When I left and went outside to the parking lot somebody had their dog locked in the car with all the windows up, now it was 73° out, that means temps can reach up to 104° in the car with the windows up. The dog was in distress and frantically barking. I immediately went back into the store and saw the manager and asked him to help. I figured he could have someone announce the customers plate over the intercom so I didn’t have to call the police and the animal didn’t have to be in any further distress waiting for the Cleveland police to arrive Etc. Well he waved his hand up, interrupted me with me away and told me it wasn’t his problem and just walked away. I guess we’re lucky it wasn’t a baby! Not that I personally see the difference. It would’ve only taken him less than 30 seconds to have someone inform that customer (who made a bad decision) and save them the angst of having to deal with the Cleveland police when they got out to their car but because of his inability to take accountability for the matters going on under his management that animal continued to be in distress - it’s life in danger, the other customer is now going to probably get a ticket and the Cleveland police had to come address it all which could’ve been prevented had he actually cared about the customers in his store. I have to say the two girls that rung me up and bagged my groceries were way better at dealing with customers than their boss and they’re highschool kids with far less experience. I will not be back.

Your ad should say limit two. Not wait until you come to the store and then telling someone they are limited to two. I'm talking about your recent ad for 2 pack bandanas.

Talk about PRICE GOUGING. They had 8-oz bottles of hand sanitizer for $3.97. Big Lots had 10 oz for only $1.00.

Employees not wearing masks. Most customers aren't either. Dirty gloves left all over the parking lot. Won't be coming back here any time soon.

Closes at 9p, so I decided to get a drink from the machine out front. Stole my money and shortchanged the guy at the matchine next to me.

Use to be my local marcs where I would pick up groceries. Always a pleasant experience. Had a more traditional grocery store feel to it the others.

Great closeouts section. I'm glad they accept credit cards now. Don't expect to get through the checkout process quickly, though - they're not set up to be efficient, and they often seem to have too few cashiers. I usually end up going to customer service to pay because I only have a few things and don't want to wait 5 minutes. God help you if you end up in line behind an old lady writing a check - they should ban checks except for one of the checkout lines. Their cashiers also like to put ever 3-4 items in their own bag, and double or triple-bag it.

Do-not-work here. Ive gone to many marcs and had no problem. But THIS one STAY AWAY. They are unfair & they keep giving everyone 1 day a week sometimes none! They fire people because employees have called the big bosses on them for poor management all because of a personal vendetta. Do not work here you need to fix the management. Nobody can live off of one day a week. I know plenty of people who work here & trust me its garbage. FIND A DIFFERENT MARCS YOULL THANK ME LATER! TREAT YOURE WORKERS RIGHT. & get it together.

Terrible. They only do money orders with cash, not a debit card. Walmart can do it with a debit card because it comes directly out of your bank account but apparently not because they're behind the times

Marc's is a much better store since they accept other credit cards instead of just Discover card.

The staff for the most part is very friendly. Debit and credit accepted. The customers however treat the store like a dump. The customer is not always right and in the Marc's experience mostly they are wrong. Update: Debit and credit card now accepted.

I've been shopping at this location for a number of years. What I appreciate about it his location is it's always organized, even in the close out area, and the store is well-stocked.

I can never go in there to get what I need. With their wide selection of great deals I tend to spend a lil more. Great store.

Cashier was friendly with her friends. We waited 20 minutes for her to talk to them. When it was our turn she was short & rude. Meat is priced way too high.

Love Marc's but have only one complaint. The bathroom has the same smears on the partitions that were there a month ago. These employees use the same restrooms and touch your products and produce. They need to be washed down and cleaned at least twice a day. This is the only reason I can not give them a 5 star.

Love this store. Not only does it have good prices. It also has a closeout section that you can find really good stuff for really cheap.
