I've been taking my cats here since 1999. Dr. Westerfield and his amazing staff have provided us with superb, personalized care! I'm very happy with their service!

My little guy cracked his nail at the nail bed and was in pain and limping. They got me in the same day, even cut their lunch hour short so he could be seen before the weekend. They fixed his nail, gave him meds, and explained everything thoroughly.
I was a bit embarrassed to go in, as he hadn’t been seen by a vet since we had him (Covid). They made me, and my little gentleman feel completely comfortable.
As they were tending to us, they were also going above and beyond to make accommodations for a timid pup being seen.
Everyone was incredibly kind, and flexible with my schedule. They made sure I completely understood how to give the meds, things to look out for, and what to do in those situations.
This is the type of veterinary office everyone wants!

We have been taking our pets to M. V. C.for 20+ years, and would not think of going anywhere else. They clearly care about their four legged patients, and have helped us through the enjoyment and pain that comes with having pets. They are a great group of people.

If you think your pet needs an X-ray, go elsewhere. Waste of time and money. Had to go to vet with ability to diagnose and treat my dog.

Love love love love Dr. Westerfield, April and Carly! They're so kind and knowledgeable (& really love both of my animals). Honest, fair and cognizant of cost - I've never felt bullied or shamed when choosing now much I want to spend on tests, etc. I have a 13+ year old rescue cat who is dealing with done gastrointestinal issues (either lymphoma or inflammatory bowel disease) - & when I elected to forgo testing, Dr. Westerfield agreed with me that it made no sense to put her through a series of expensive tests when we could just keep her comfortable and treat symptoms. Highly highly highly recommend!

I have been taking my fur babies to Dr Westerfield for close to 20 years now. Dr. Westerfield and his staff are truly incredible and caring. Dr. Westerfield is incredibly passionate about what he does and his love of animals is apparent. His bedside manner has always put my pets at ease and made taking my babies to the vet easy and enjoyable. I love in Sparta KY, about an hour and 10 minutes away, and I make the drive to see Dr Westerfield.
