Marietta Aquatic Center reviews
17Closed, no correct info posted anywhere I could find online. They don't even have a Facebook
It was super fun we had children ages 4m-13 years old.
My only complaint is they could invest in more shaded areas.
Pros- It's a large area, enough room to be spread out and not bump into each other. It has a good mix of water levels and things to do. Basketball hoops, slides, lazy river, sprinkler type areas, and a pirate ship for the smaller ones. Clean restroom areas.
Cons- GRASS. They mow it but don't rake it or bag it so there is a ton of dried dead pieces everywhere.
Lifeguards are OVERLY attentive in a non productive way. I 100 percent agree with them having so many guards, thats great, and I agree people need to follow the rules, but if you are there very long you start to tune out the whistles because they are CONSTANTLY being blown. When they blow they don't say anything or enforce the rule they are trying to uphold they just continue to blow and make faces. It was very hard to tell if it was your kid or someone else's they had a problem with, but that's what happens when you only hire young kids.
There were several areas broken. The splash pad was shut off because of "water coming from places it shouldn't" according to a worker, and part of the pirate ship was blocked off with caution tape.
All in all it's a decent place but definitely needs some maintenance.
Really nice place just wish there were more things for the little kids to do. That ship slides are great other than the water being blasted in there face when they get on it. It scared my daughter really badly. But my son had a great time he's older.
A surprisingly nice city pool, with two sizable water slides, a lazy river, and an awesome pirate ship for the little guys. Monsters hardly ever spawn here, but occasionally you’ll find spectral wolves blocking the exit. In times like these, follow the old saying: “when wolves abound, a friendly otter will surely be found. ”
Loved it! Would give 5 stars, but there wasnt very many shaded areas. They could definitely stand to invest in some more shade.
Very nice pool area, had an amazing time with the family but the lifeguards seemed pretty rude
My son had a blast! Nice shallow waters for him and other little ones. Went on a Sunday and it's not really busy or crowded. Just enough that you can still enjoy the water and space.
It's a fun place when everything is working. Something in the kids area is always broken.
The lifeguards are super Ana about their rules even though I wouldn't trust any of them to save my kids life. If you're worried about your kid running though, they're on it!
Some little buggers strapped me down to a pool noodle and had there way with me but the pool was nice so 5 stars!
My son would love at the Aquatic Center every summer if he could. Only thing is I wish the food booth would take debit cards instead of cash only. To get in you can use a card but not for the food.other than that I love this place!
Two water slides, a quaint lazy river, plenty of shallow water for kids, but not much deep areas, no diving boards.
Its a nice place for small kids. Came from Cambridge, ohio to check out something new. It was a decision between here or Lake Park. Lake Park is a lot bigger than Mariette aquatic center. Deppest the water is is 5ft and it is very small and crowded. Does have a lazy river but I see mainly kids on it, so yeah, you know how that would go!
At was nice and thenlife guards are great, very diligent and friendly. Only complaint was bathroom was a bit dirty, but Im sure it is hard to clean when busy.
Amazing place! Water slides, lazy river. The lifeguards did an actual change over, correctly. Vigilant, one took over surveillance while the other came down from the stand then swapped. Felt safe, water temps were nice. They pull the kids out for 15 minutes so the adults had free reign. Nice clean place!
My daughter was obsessed with the childrens Pirate Ship and the Mushroom waterfall. Granted my daughter is 3yrs old, but she desperately wanted to go down the two large slides. Also there is a lazy river which feels like it must be heated due to the temperature difference between the main pool and itself.
