Marine Towers West Apartments, Lakewood OH

Visit friends who live there.

They seem to maintain everything well including lobby/etc.upgrades. Their pool & patio area is nice too.

I understand the staff is friendly and helpful but I hate their buzz-in system!

James and Cheryl are so professional in all our encounters. The maintenance staff arrives to fix issues in the apartment within 20 minutes of the service request being made.

While a relatively new resident here, I have found the staff to be responsive to my questions and service requests. It is a comfort to me that the leasing office is staffed with competent, accessible people and the service personnel are wonderful. Everyone I've interacted with has been cordial and helpful.

I moved in here about two months ago and it has been a great experience so far. The staff is very helpful/friendly and make sure you are always taken care of. I’m excited for my next year here!

We’ve recently rented a unit at Marine Towers West and are extremely satisfied. The property is well maintained and very secure. The staff is very friendly, accommodating, and the location is ideal. Lastly, the rooms are spacious, warm and quiet.

Anyone looking for an apartment needs to put this property at the top of their list to view.

I have lived in Marine Towers West in Lakewood, Ohio since August of 2019. It is an excellent place to live and a place I am proud to call my home. I love the amenities and the view of the Lake Erie. I am especially pleased that on the penthouse floor there is a party room, patio and community room (Captains Quarters) that is nicely furnished and overlooks the lake and the skyline of Cleveland.

I have hosted guest in the party room, held business meetings in the Captions Quarters and I have had overnight guest to stay in the guest suite that is available. The property management and staff are very responsive and whenever there is an issue it is resolved quickly.

I was here when the garage collapsed, and I am happy to say that I was pleased with how it was handled. In recent months there has been a change in manager and many upgrades. There is a noticeable change in the attention to details. The staff is friendly, responsive and they go out of their way to provide a wonderful experience for the residence.

The building is quiet, and intergenerational everyone that I have come in contact with is friendly and respectful.

I love living here and it is less than a mile from shopping and restaurants. If you are looking to rent on the lake this is a property you will want to consider.

Recently moved in a couple months ago. Love the apartment/area. Leasing agents do a fabulous job of making you feel welcome. Before and even after you move in. Nice quiet building with great view of the lake.highly recommend.

I lived here from 2021 up until recent. The apartment was nice and spacious starting out, but then the garage went boom and the management staff and the building went downhill quickly.

My apartment began to have a water leak, the leak was first fixed in a poor attempt, which caused mold. Next they decide to drill into the wall in my apartment and in the above hallway, these attempts failed. So the solution was to put an access panel in and claim the leak was done by turning the ac off for the year.

The management seemed to only start caring about the money after the garage collapse. My rent skyrocketed, the price in the laundry would go up every few months. Management wouldn't give me any discount or reimbursement on the leak.

The only good thing at this place was the view from the roof.

I visited Marine Towers West today (5/8/23) and met with a Ms Cheryl Kish to tour the facility as it’s on my short list of places I’m considering moving to later this year as I prepare to move back from Columbus, Ohio. She was extremely professional and informative as we visited many of the amenities this community offers. We even went out to the top floor deck to allow me the opportunity to enjoy the breathtaking view. I was very impressed with the facility as a whole.
Ms Kish is certainly an asset to your community and a reason why this is in the top 3 places I will consider living at.

Many thanks to James and Cheryl for the lovely dinner provided to all residents in January. In these challenging times, it was delightful to get together and eat and socialize. I met neighbors I hadn't met before. It was delightful!

I’ve been a tenant of Marine Towers West for 5 years, soon to be 6 years. I’ve never regretted moving here. It’s truly an experience to wake up every morning and look out your windows at Lake Erie.
The new garage and newly remodeled lobby is very nice. The Lobby is so welcoming with its bright colors and new furniture. To live on such a lovely street, Edgewater/Lake Ave.with all its trees and beautiful homes and not to forget two incredible restaurants, Pier W and Summer House steps away.

Aside from all of this, the Office Staff, James, Cheryl, Glenda and Kim are the best, always there for you with an open door policy, willing to help in any way they can. The Maintenance Crew is always respectful of your apartment and are top notch in taking care of what needs to be done.
I love my home at Marine Towers West.

I resided at MTW from 2020-2022.

As indicated by many of my former neighbors on several outlets (not just Google), Burton Carol Management did a total heel turn after the attached two-story parking garage collapsed on 12/23/2021.

It’s a literal miracle that no one perished due to their dereliction of allowing contractors to work on-site without a permit from the city of Lakewood.

Advice: Do NOT move here. If you want to live in a real condo (not apartment) by the lake, just take a walk down Edgewater (east or west, many lovely options).
