Martin & Wood Appraisal Group, Toledo OH

I am in the process of purchasing a home.
This appraiser did not bother to get the correct information regarding the utilities provided to the home.
The home has city water and sewer and natural gas.
He put down well septic and propane.
Never bothered to enter the home to see changes that were made were a window was removed and closet added to were window was.
He also said heating system inoperable even though it is fine.
Due to all his errors the bank refused the loan.
Martin and Wood refused to get the correct information and update the appraisal.
I do not want anyone to have to experience what we have been through.
Please read the reviews an find an honest appraiser that will take the time and not just assume or take 3rd hand information

I’m very disappointed in our appraisal. There were several things on our report that were not correct, including a statement that the appraiser couldn’t get into the shed when there is no shed on our property. Also stated the crawl space was sealed yet there are pictures of the crawl space and the owners offered to go down with her and she said it wasn’t necessary. She also claimed no GFI outlets in the kitchen when we have proof they were already done at the time of the appraisal. These things have caused a lot of problems and most likely backed up our closing date. We are still waiting for the appraiser to send clarification to our underwriter on these mistakes so we can close, but it looks like that will get pushed back because of there problems. We may even have to pay for a re-inspection. I would not recommend this company to anyone if you want things done quickly and correctly.
