Martino's International Cafe, Vermilion OH

Food is pretty meh. Nothing on the menu is that great. Service was terrible. Asked the server for one thing and she never brought it. Ended up forgetting about us then going home.

Ordered beef stroganoff and it was mushroom stroganoff. There was 2 pieces of beef in.the entree. Waitress was excellent.

Ordered a long island, out of triple sec, sour mix, diet coke. Breakfast was tasteless. This place has went downhill in the last 6 months, we won't be back.

New owner.trying to make it his own. However, several occasions they were out of things that were a "staple" on the menu. We were regulars and We've given it a college try, but probably won't ho back. Sorry.

We had Lucy as our server she was amazing! Decided on Martinos after my moms graduation from nursing school. Food was delicious! Love this place ️

Worst food ever! Never again will we ever go there! Couldn’t even eat the food it tasted terrible and way too expensive for the garbage they serve! I would give o stars if I could!

Ordered take out. Ordered bratwurst with pierogies and sauerkraut, fish and chips and chicken Parm. They were bagging it as we arrived. Bratwurst meal: everything wash dry and flavorless, pierogies were very dense. Fish and chips were greasy and fries were mushy. Pasta was over cooked. Very, very disappointed.won’t ever go again.

1 meal out of 3 tasted okay, when we eventually got served, that is. The staff is majorly confused at even being asked for tea.

Jordyn was my server, quick and great hospitality service. My crispy chicken wrap and fries were great. I had my 1 year old with me and they were very nice to her. I’ll be back for sure.

I had the hot Nashville chicken wrap it was absolutely delicious! My server Jordyn was very quick, she had great hospitality she had a smile on her face the whole time made me feel so welcomed. I asked for the cook she came out she said her name was Ashley she was very sweet she cooked my meal anyways definitely will be back!

I’m not picky. Can’t remember the last time I sent food back, until today that is. I ordered Lo Mein for pickup. Noodles were over cooked, veggies undercooked. The only reason for a second star is customer service. They did try to make it right. I swapped for the French dip sandwich this time. I was given the sandwich with no Aus Jus. The third time in the drive thru, I did get the dip. But it was terrible. Too much wine and tasted like they subbed an excessive amount of Italian seasoning for thyme. Lid for reference. In avoiding the Aus Jus, the sandwich was flavorless.

Do not like changes since new owner. Loved the paninis and they no longer make them. Also prices way up. And worst of all the French fries are no longer good. I loved the old fries. So disappointed.

Waitress was very rude, my sandwich was soggy, fries cold and she didn't offer anything to make it right, just blamed it on someone else and brought me the bill.

EDIT: I was there this past Monday afternoon, my server had short red hair. I ordered the Italian sandwich with no dressing - and there was dressing on it and the whole bottom bun was soaked and soggy. When I informed her that I didn't like it and it was very soggy and reminded her I asked for no dressing she said I told the cooks what you asked sorry and walked away and brought my bill. Didn't offer to take the sandwich off or for a replacement.

This place needs a restaurant impossible makeover. The food is below average and we had to ask for refills on coffee. The carpet is beyond disgusting. It’s filthy and we will not be returning. We tried it the first time and we will not go back.

I went in there Friday my server was Ashley and she does an amazing job. She made it seem like home and I would recommend this place to go eat 10 out of 10 times. Can't wait to go back just for her cooking

We were there for the Easter buffet it was absolutely wonderful. The staff was fantastic. We enjoyed it so much. Can't wait for our next visit.

I want to thank the Martino's staff for their great work on a party we had for my father! Their care, professionalism, and hospitality gave the perfect touch to the occasion! Thank you so much!

Martino's rocked Vermilion years back when it was in the cute little shoebox restaurant down the street. Pretty decor and nice bar. Then it moved into an old Ponderosa building and lost its ambiance. Soon it would begin its decline into mediocre food and the worst service in Vermilion. Waits for a menu could take 10 minutes in the empty venue. Add another 15 to get your order taken, although the fish and chips we ordered arrived timely, albeit overcooked batter and a tad undercooked cod. To the chef-frying over 375 degrees will render the outside hard and leave the fish slightly undone. Another ding in keeping stock of supplies-they were out of diet cola. Vermilion needs more fine restaurants. Kick Quaker Steak out of the prime MarGarvey's lakefront property and bring in a primo restaurant the likes of Pickle Bill's. In fact, if Pickle Bill's sees this, we'd welcome you with lines out the door and hungry hearts.
