12 July 2021: On hot summer days, people like to get ice cream. It's a no frills soft serve ice cream shop that gets the job done. Nothing really stood out. I ordered a milkshake and was satisfied.
Pros:
* Location. The shop is near the metro park. After a good jog, biking trip, or basketball game, come down the hill to get a cone.
* fast service. They will get the ice cream out to you relatively quickly.
Cons:
* Parking lot is kinda small. This place can get busy as any ice cream shop would on a hot summer day.
The service is nice. Nice selection of flavors, it's really good just inconvenient that they don't take a credit card or debit card
I love this place the banana split comes in pint size and they have so many different flavors of ice cream plus a non-dairy option.
They have a lemon cheesecake bar ice cream that just became my ultimate fave. I fact, I'm going today to get some more!
I now live out of town but I had to stop here for old time sake. The Fudge Brownie fantasy was still delicious!

I love Martin Freeze ice cream I come with my grandchildren weekly same thing every single time strawberry twist large in a cup with candy coat on the side. I was happy until today I'm not asking for a mountain of ice cream but for A LARGE I would like to see the ice cream above the rim of the cup at least. The manager Karen (could be a bit more friendlier) explain to me that they were large has always been like that I have becoming for at least 4 years just want to be able to see the ice cream ABOVE THE RIM OF THE CUP. I took a picture could not figure how to post it.
There's a reason why they have "NO REFUNDS" plastered on all the windows! Overpriced, low quality ice cream. I ordered milkshakes, and they were like drinking milk. They use fake banana syrup, and I couldn't taste the malt. Don't waste your money!
One of The Best soft serve ice cream spots in the city for many years, always a family fun favorite. Customer service is fantastic, place very clean with a nice variety of ice cream treats and flavors to choose from.
One of my favorite ice cream places the only thing I don't like is if I like a flavor I should be able to have my ice cream the way I want for the price
I have been going to Martin's since I was a little kid I would ride my bike down the hill from Indian Hills to enjoy that iced creamy cone or an orange and Cherry slushie
Very good service, got my order quickly but I ordered the pins colada milkshake and it didn't taste like anything but vanilla ice cream. Also only takes cash.
