Mary Yoder's Amish Kitchen reviews
29Such a great restaurant and they know how to handle a crowd. Love the homemade rolls and wonderful food.
It’s ok, I’m sure there are much better Amish style restaurants. Advertises soup and salad bar but no soup. Advertises Mac and cheese on buffet (stated on menu) and no Mac and cheese available. Food decent but small selection for the price. 70 something for a family of four. One kid a vegetarian so no Mac and cheese as a main dish was disappointing for her. She ate mashed potatoes and salad for $15
Delicious food! I'm not sure considering the pandemic if it was wise to have a buffet, but the food was good.
Love this place. Atmosphere is relaxing and food is fresh and filling. Buy a pie on your way out.
Ate here before Covid and Loved it. Now not so much. They had run out of items in their hot bar and didn't see the need to replenish in a timely manner. You could here staff arguing in the kitchen.
Dining area was very clean and well maintained, staff was very welcoming, and food was delicious! My family enjoyed our experience here from beginning to end. Highly recommended!
The atmosphere is truly quaint and county Amish Restaurant. The food is excellent and the service was superior. We held our Mother's Celebration of Life Remembrance Dinner in their party room. Yoder's was Mom's favorite restaurant and our guests all ordered from the menu. We were served promptly and no errors were made. The staff was accommodating accepting the flower delivery Saturday morning and provided a table for a picture display. Afterward we shopped in their country store and purchased some dessert to share at home.
Special thanks to all the staff at Mary Yoder's Amish Restaurant. Mother would have been very pleased. Blessings
This is the worst food I have ever had. The chicken was dry, everything was just a mess.the whole ordeal was just bad. Stay away from here if all possible. + Everyone that works there is rude, you tell them how bad the food is and they just walk away. SO WE JUST WALKED AWAY, we paid then walked away. They should have paid us. IT WAS BAD!
The price is amazing. Food was good. Fun having the store attached. The food seemed good and fresh and not too greasy.
I would eat here every day if I could.
The food used to be wonderful. We were really not happy with the food the last two times we were there.
Food was expensive and kind of bland. And there's that dire warning: "No Sharing", which is un-American.
Best turkey and stuffing. Don't even get me started on the fresh peach pie! I'm still raving about it!
Their chicken used to be fantastic, but not anymore
Buffet was sub par to bad. WILL probably not go back.
Their beef bbq sandwich was delicious. Their reuben was also really great. Their sweet potato fries dipped in the cinnamom sauce were amazing! Will def be coming back here. The store has a lot of options to take home as well!
This was my 1st time here and I just loved it. The home-style meals were phenomenal. Got the buffet and I don't think I tasted one thing I didn't enjoy. The meatloaf was my personal favorite. For dessert ordered an apple dumpling that was pure bliss. Just the nicest most pleasant staff. Very warm and inviting atmosphere. I brought some out of town guests with me and they were equally impressed. I can't wait to stop back in and check out the gift shop next time.
This place has it all. All portions are nice, service is good. And everyone was friendly while taking care of the guest. I will be going back. And a whole peanut butter cream pie is the way to go for dessert. Monster pies. I would recommend everyone to try this place out. And the prices are fair.
The server we had was very nice and accommodating. The food was just okay. I grew up on Amish food being that my own grandmother left the religion as a teenager, and I can safely say that this food does not live up to other Amish food around.
Saturday morning buffet was good. Friendly staff and plenty of food. You can tour their gift shop filled with amish crafts, food, and art. The only complaint i have was not being able to locate the frozen slush that is advertised on their menu.
The prices were good. There was a decent buffet. We tried the Amish dinner, the veggie sandwich, and a BLT. The restaurant was practically empty when we arrived. The waitress was prompt and attentive.
Great buffet, great selection, fresh, served with hot wheat rolls, awesome server. The stuffed pepper soup was excellent. Had so much fun. The blueberry pie is out of this world. Clean environment. The children sat with parents and were polite - very impressive. Great place to go!
