Massage Envy - Kenwood, Cincinnati OH

RUN AWAY FROM HERE. I have been here and they had no music and it was the worst experience ever. They have cancelled an appointment on me, and recently my FSA card changed and I missed a payment. Mind you, I have 10 PAID massage that I have not used and I was told that I can't use them until I pay for the month that I was in. The massages are good to great depending on who you get, but thE management and owners are nothing more than a bunch of money hungry snobs at this location.

I just wanted to write and say thank you to Katherine, Carolyn, and the rest of this amazing staff. I've had a tough couple of weeks, and I'm not one to treat myself often, but I needed it today. I feel so much better and much more calm. They know the details.:) Thank you for relaxing me, giving me healing, calming me down, educating me, and just making me feel better. From the therapists, to the facialist, to the front staff, to the manager, thank you. Oh! And thanks to the Obage rep too! Darian! So amazing! I cant wait to come back. Hopefully you guys are blessed with bonuses this holiday. I'm hoping so. I'm so grateful and thankful. My money was well spent. I'll see you soon. I'm already booked again for a double massage/facial. Much love to all of you!

Apparently it is too difficult for them to tell you on the phone while you are booking your appointment that you must cease to use topical prescription creams a week in advance of your facial. I arrived, was asked about any topical creams I use, which I said I use every other night, and they told me I would have to re-book my appointment. Very frustrating. Also quite rude.

Run far away. My first massage was great. So great that I signed up for their monthly program. That’s when I was rope-a-doped. They cancelled my first appointment with two hours notice then a month later my second citing family emergencies. I take vacation days for this and have two toddlers myself - I’m never going to be able to use a membership if I burn my vacation time only to be told last minute each time they can no longer fit me in to something I’ve scheduled weeks in advance.

They canceled my appointment 45 minutes before my scheduled time. Wanted my credit card number to guarantee I would show. I should have asked for theirs!

My first time ever getting a massage an my massage therapist was excellent, I will be back to see her One of the women at the front desk who I dont remember what her name is, was extremely fake an rude. When I gave my tip to my therapist she smirked out loud which I thought was extremely unprofessional an rude. Other than that my over all was good.

Staff: The staff is very welcoming. They make you feel very comfortable. You might n’en asked about the yearly plan when it’s time for you to pay. If you know you will make use of it, get it.

Massage: very relaxing. Potentially addictive.

Setting/ Place: the decoration is beautiful. The seats are confortable and relaxing. Ladies, remember to comeback with a bare face for your massage.

I heard that the employee environment is very toxic, and they let go of someone who was of Honesty and Integrity, and I highly valued this Sales associate as someone who was wonderful with booking me for a massage. An employee took her membership opportunity right in front of me. I think that management letting a good employee get away, who is of honesty and integrity go, is not a good sign of a good supportive office environment or potentially how management runs the clinic. This employee was loyal to the owners, and always went above and beyond. She had red hair, and helped so many people when she worked with this company. I wish she was still there, I would go back in a heart beat. With how the front desk staff was after she left, too much of a sales environment for me. If you are looking for salesy place and uninterested people in your actual wellbeing, this is your place, if not please go elsewhere for a massage. I love Massage Envy, this location is a not for me. I do not recommend Debbie, because she took a membership opportunity away from this employee with whom she was working. Shows Debbie's character, and how she could care less about her coworker. Plus, the employee of Integrity and Honesty worked with the customer before, and Debbie knew it. Just a thought, when considering a place for a massage, and you are of Intergrity and Honesty, please go elsewhere. Debbie is a pretend nice, and superficial. Just an observation.

I went to this location to get some information and Taylor was so helpful. I will be using massage envy in the future.

The customer service at the front desk was exceptional! Jason is a great massage therapist, he is very communicative and ensures everything is done to your liking. I would highly recommend both Jason and this location to anyone interested in relieving some tension or stress!

I would avoid this location. They were not completely truthful about pricing. I wanted to buy a gift card for a massage, but didn't because of the price they quoted. The girl working the front counter didn't seem to know what she was doing. If you want to go to massage envy I would recommend the Colerain location. They were more knowledgeable, friendly and honest. I sent my mom to Colerain over Kenwood.

Shout out to my esthetician and massage therapist. I loves the royal treatment, who knew the beds were heated! SShouldntve kept that a secret! Amazing feeling for Easter weekend. Whoop whoop

I absolutely loved my massage therapist. My back was out so I went to the massage and then to the chiropractor and I could walk straight after that. I love taking the holistic approach!

I have been going to this location for over 6 months and every visit has been professional and exceptional. From the front desk team members to the most awesome massage therapist in the entire universe Geoff Hoebbel, I highly recommend this location despite the few bad reviews. The facility is clean, the staff is professional, and Geoff is medically trained, so again, I have had nothing but an excellent experience. Thank you Geoff and Massage Envy Kenwood!

I have been going to this location for about two years with no issues. The massage therapist I’ve been seeing for the last six months is amazing. Her name is Crystal and I hope she’s there forever! No one has ever gotten the knot out of my right shoulder except for her and it has been an issue for about 20 years. She listens and is very specific and deliberate in her treatment. I would highly recommend this location and this therapist.

These people are nothing but crooks and don’t care about the well being of their clients. I had major hip surgery that is a 6 month recovery and could not get massages and they said they are going to continue charging me until I get a doctors excuse. So I got a doctors excuse. Then they claim it isn’t a good enough excuse to cancel my membership. So now I am being charging $70 a month for something I can’t do right now because of my health and they do not care. They are just out for your money do not give these people business.

Can't decide if it is an incompetent owner or lack of respect. They overcharge my account and wait to give me money back once they do they write a bad check and refused to pay the fee that my bank charges for their bad check. Absolutely love my therapist I cannot stand dealing with a staff that doesn't fulfill their obligations when they are in the wrong. Time to take this matter to a higher level. Never again will I go to this location.

I just went for my first time and Geoff was amazing! That was the best massage I think I have ever had! My body feels so much better!

With a wide variety of massage therapists, the Massage Envy in Kenwood is one of my favorite places to relax. Renate, Stacy and Ayesha are just 3 of the amazing therapists there. I get relief from aching joints and muscles for a very reasonable price. Try a 90 minute massage.you won't regret it!

This place is a joke. My husband and I paid for a couples massage and started a membership at the conclusion of the massage. I go back 2 weeks later to get my first massage of the membership and they charged me $48. They tried to state that my membership wont be active until June 8, which is not what I was told when signing up for the membership, I was told the membership began immediately. Cant wait to get my "doctors note" to cancel my membership.
