Maude Neiding Memorial Park, Amherst OH

This has a nice mix of wood playground equipment and newer metal playgrounds. Both are fun and my kids love climbing and exploring here. Some of the wood equipment is a bit run down but nothing out of the ordinary.

Nice large park for the kids. The wooden part has a lot of neat spots for the kids to roam and play. Definitely worth checking out if you haven't been there before.

Great pool, terrible admission. Our tax dollars pay for the pool, but it's priced per person per day, and say you run home to get something, that's your day and you have to pay again. They need to bring back the yearly passes and adopt a yearly pass structure like Avon has for their pool (which is much nicer). I'm not sure why the yearly passes were taken away, I'm sure they make more money doing the whole $8/person method, but that does nothing for tax paying citizens.

This pool has it all. Toddler splash pad. Shallow side of pool 3ft, deep end 8ft and middle of pool great for laps.you can rent life jackets and there is concession stand. Across the parking lot is a great play ground. There is a cost for the pool, the playground is free. Call ahead for hours.

Restroom needs cleaning!
Showers need to be fixed.
The shower should not be used as a storage area.

Nice park, long walk to the pavelone for the party. Beautiful place to take.you grandbabies.

My son loves to play here cause it's got so much to do. It's well kept and the pavilion is nice for kids parties.

Love this park! So big and so much to do! Everyone there is super friendly and there are always kids there for your little ones to play with!

Very fun and super thrilling environment for the kids. The Castle park is known far and wide!

One of the best supported and cleanest parks in Lorain county. Only problem is there are no bathrooms due to destructive teenagers causing damage in their endless bids to be "hardcore" on Tiktok and Facebook. Other than that, it's perfect. LOTS of shade, great playgrounds, adequate trash management and good quality people.

What a nice park it's so huge and gigantic and shaded that makes it very nice. But everyone needs to know there are ticks in this park. We're sitting at one of the tables and there were ticks on the table and on the ground. Of course we got up in a hurry.we checked each other and immediately left. They need to spray for ticks.how awful.uhg!

Amazing park for kids. Loved the classic wooden fort structures. Not too many of those built anymore.

A nice picture of the wooden play area at Maude Neiding Memorial Park. Although my family lives in Lorain, we frequently visit this park as it is one of the kids favorites.

Very solid park for kids. Extremely large play place. A the wood area is little older, but still in decent condition and is probably the coolest part for kids, depending on their age. I haven’t done anything with the pool or large grassy area, so I cannot vouch for those.

It may be outdated but it's a solid place for kids of all ages to play. My toddler loves how its different from other playgrounds with the wooden playarea.

Beautiful park & pool area, nice & clean. Didn't care much for the attitudes of the kids who work there.
