6 I'm sure this is a great resource for a lot of reasons. But.
My friend, her 6 year old, and I were on a walk on the way to enjoy our day, and stopped to return a book. The librarian was rather unkind to us, and even after the slight unpleasantness decided to ask my friend's child if she wanted to do an art project for the kids wall. What should have been a two minute stop became an hour. You really should consider adults' schedules before involving their kid in a long project that would upset the kid to leave. It made our day harder, and the kid felt pressured to make it perfect so it took extra long.
The Librarians that work here are extremely helpful and go the extra mile to help you find even outdated books and material
Staff are amazing here, perfect layout! I am ready for the summer programs to begin!
I have been to many libraries in the Lucas county area, and this is one of the nicest. Large amount of space, great selection of books, clean, helpful staff, and very peaceful/ quiet.which I don't always find at libraries. I will def be coming back.
Lucas County libraries are all amazing! Have loved every interaction I've had here- the librarians are all so kind.
There are a few tables available for studying. The women at the front desk were both inviting and helpful in answering all my questions.
