Nicole Jackson NP has absolutely no right to be involved with anyone who is dealing with mental health issues. She was absolutely cold hearted and rude to my 17 yo son who came there for help. She acted more like a probation officer instead of being an advocate for his mental health. I myself am a nurse and she was by far the rudest person I have ever met and treated us both like we were incompetent and a bother. People who seek help should not be treated the way she treated him. This woman should be stripped of her license. I have never in my life met a nurse this insensitive and judgmental. She definitely should not be working with mentally ill patients, she made my son feel worse than he already felt. Shame on her and Maumee Valley for employing her. I am absolutely appalled by the way she spoke to us. We will not be returning because of her. She should not be allowed to work with patients who are already struggling. This should have been a safe space for my son. Now he is reluctant to seek any kind of help. However the receptionist and LPN were very kind

Nicole Jackson is literally the worst nurse here. I asked multiple times to switch meds because they’d work for a few weeks and then need upped. Last time I went into get them upped she blatantly disrespected me and made me feel lower than I am. I’m absolutely appalled that they let her continue to work there.

If you want to be handed a big old heaping bowl of false hope and end up worse off than you where before! Then this is totally the place for you!

The receptionist is very nice, and they work around your schedule to find a time for your appointment. They also call days in advance to remind you of your upcoming appointment. The therapists are very good and help you work through your issues while being non-judgmental. I've been going here well over a year and haven't had any problems! They're very welcoming and respectful.

It's not all on this location.
I scheduled my appointment for 1pm and specified what city (not Defiance).
My reminder call was the correct time, wrong city but I still went.
Found out after waiting 20 minutes and filling out the paperwork that I wouldnt be seen until 2. I needed to leave by 2. I scheduled somewhere else.

People here don’t like doing their jobs and treat patients like trash.they constantly put my family member down, don’t help him out, force him to take meds that make him sick, etc.the receptionist always has an attitude with him for no reason & wouldn’t book an appointment for him that he needed for what reason? The nurse told him he will never have a chance to get on disability even though he has two (or more) disabilities that qualify which really irked me & that helping him get on it “wasn’t her job” even though help was requested from her from someone else that literally works there, they’re just overly rude for no reason, they act like actually doing their jobs is impossible and take their hatred out on their patients.they’re obviously only there for the pay, not to actually care for their patients.another thing is the therapist themselves, good luck getting in with them when you really need it because you’ll have to wait a month or two to talk to one even though a therapist should be there when needed.they are supposed to be taking care of mentally ill people but instead treat them like they’re only there for the paycheck.

Not helpful at all. The lady double booked and told me I was the one that needed to leave but she was sorry. The receptionist was rude at the time. I went to 5 ish sessions and non of them were helpful at all. They keep sending me billing statements even though they sessions are and have been covered by insurance. Worst place ever do not go here, you will regret it.

I would never ever recommend anyone to this place! They do not do their jobs. If you need help in a certain area in your life, such as a group class they put you in one that to just fill a space, not one that is beneficial to your needs. The therapist there do not care about your issues. My daughter was going there and the therapist was not concerned about her welfare, such as her anger issues. My other daughter was abused told her therapist every detail and the therapist never did a thing. When I called job and family services about my daughter and they said her therapist never once forwarded anything my daughter had shared with her. Now we are in the process of getting her into another place to get her the proper help she needs.
