We wanted a complete gut kitchen remodel and an addition built on to our house. We decided in 2020 that we would "interview" McCarty Customized with a bathroom remodel. We were so happy with the finished product that we decided to remodel our second bathroom too. Since we were introduced to McCarty Customized in 2020, they have remodeled 2 bathrooms, drywalled walls and ceiling of the entire 2nd floor, complete gut kitchen remodel, tear-down of an existing screened-in porch, complete build of 400 square foot addition, installed LVP flooring throughout the entire 1st floor, new roof, new gutters and siding, and I'm sure I'm forgetting about something. There is no part of our home that they haven't touched.

I could not be happier with this company. They are incredibly responsive, which is not easy to come by in this industry. Their work product has been excellent. Every person that we have dealt with has been kind and respectful. Work was completed on schedule. Any hiccups (and every major construction project will have some) were handled very well. They genuinely care that the finished work product is up to both their and our standards.

McCarty Customized with be our Go-To for any future construction projects. And we tell everyone who will listen, that if you are having a construction project in the Columbus area, McCarty Customized should be your first call.

Had to have a cabinet pulled for plumbing repairs and McCarty did a perfect job pulling the cabinet and re-installing it with no damage.

McCarty Customized Improvements are one of the best contracting companies we have worked with. Travis is an owner that swings the hammer and is involved in all the details. When you are doing fully customized rooms, he is who you want. His team members and sub-contractors were all top notch, professional and treated our home with respect during the construction. We had a complete full bathroom built, with major concrete and plumbing work done. McCarty handled all the permits and inspections. Travis posted his work breakdown schedule with tentative dates and kept us informed and updated through the process. Very helpful to understand when they are waiting on supplies, inspectors, etc. McCarty Customized Improvements is a quality company from start to finish, even after final payment. They have completed the punch list and resolved all items. We will use them again.

I highly recommend McCarty Customized for their quality, reliability and affordability. As a general contractor myself, I know I can count on them to successfully follow through on a project with detail oriented precision. I also recommend their cabinet lines for homeowners and other contractors!

Travis and Emanuel were very helpful with choose a flooring material and pattern for our basement, they have a large selection of samples to pick through. 10/10 great experience, great price, great product very happy with how it turned out.

Great group! I highly recommend them. We bought our house a couple years ago and had some damaged siding plus other issues. They matched and fixed the siding, found louvers for the dryer vent (major pain the original company was gone), and took care of an issue between the siding & chimney. Also, redid the vent exhausts for HVAC & hot water tank to code. Yes, a lot of "odd jobs" that I didn't know how to solve after buying this house. Again, thank you!

They remodeled and finished my garage to include insulation, drywall, a new garage door, and a commercial heater. Excellent quality, very responsive, and professional. Would definitely use them again for other contracting work.

Very knowledgeable staff and contractors! There design team is amazing and was quick to produce a quote for my kitchen cabinets. The owner even came by to check in on the project and make sure everything was going to plan. They did run into some complications but were quick to fix it and didn't increase the price of the final bill due to their mistake. Honest and proficient! You need a contractor these are the guys to call!

McCarty Customized Improvements is a company with creative, detail-oriented & professional staff. They built a short privacy fence next to our deck and installed a small gate other companies said couldn’t be done the way we wanted it. They know how to communicate with customers, were patient and helpful with changes we wanted to make mid-project, and did an excellent job on the overall project. We will use them again - and again.

This company sent out an employee who they were not sure could do the job. When I called back they assured me they only hired people who were capable. I should have gone with my first instinct and not hired. The person who should have evaluated the job did not come out to look at it at all. Probably would have been helpful. It was a plumbing job for toilet which required removing tiles and replacing the subfloor. I was given an estimate for replacing both but somehow the final invoice was twice what was given because they ran into problems they had not anticipated. Since this is their business, shouldn't they have known all the possibilities? Their worker broke the flange which then required replacing that and for some reason the pipes leading to the flange. Those were all mismatched leading to the toilet being crooked once replaced. They offered to redo the plumbing and the fix the ceiling for $750 because that is the cost of repairing that no matter how large small or large the hole. So in the end entire price 3 times what I expected. Went with another plumber. Not a pleasant experience.

Yay! McCarty built a new bathroom for us from scratch. This used to be unused closet space in my mother-in-law's room. She loves it now that she doesn't need to share a toilet! Thanks to Travis, Kim, Rob, and numerous artisans and contractors who worked on this project and treated it as their own. The pictures don't do it justice.
