McFadyen Family Eyecare Inc, Cincinnati OH

I just completed a visit to McFadyen Family Eyecare. I hadn't been to an eye Doctor in years so I randomly picked this place as Dr. Carisa McFadyen is in my Health Care Network. This turned out to be a GREAT decision! Dr. McFadyen was terrific - a good listener, very patient, very thorough in her exams. She took time to probe into eye history, answered a number of questions on current condition, prior surgery, and the latest technologies in eye glasses. I developed a quick trust with her and told my wife about her and will recommend her to friends and family.

Overcharged me, and never paid me back. Messed up with my insurance, the girl at the desk taking the payment was more focused on her vacation than paying attention to what she was doing. Hence charging me when my insurance paid the entire amount. My glasses took over a month to get delivered. When I went to pick them up the girl handed them to me and walked away, didn't stay to make sure they fit or that the prescription was right. Had a lot of issues, will not be returning or recommending this place to anyone else.

Tried to make an appointment here and was thinking about bringing my family over but I couldnt get passed how rude and nasty the person talking my information was the whole time. In the middle of the 2nd phone call she tells me I have to call back because they need thier computers.so rude! Awful demeanor!

Dr. Mcfadyen did a very thorough exam. She was very nice and explained everything to me really well. The staff was amazing from the time I walked in until the time I left. The two ladies who were working at the front were exceptional and made me feel very welcome and comfortable. There are previous reviews about the place being dirty, I do not understand. The place was very clean, not a spec of dirt that I saw, every machine was wiped down in front of me before it was used. Awesome service, awesome staff!

This was my first visit to an eye doctor and I was a little nervous. The staff was amazing and very friendly, made me feel very comfortable. The Dr.explained everything to me. We talked about my concerns and how to address them. She took her time and gave me all my options and was not rushed. I will definately recommend her to my friends!

My family and I have been going here for about 12 years and we have only had one minor problem a few years ago but that was with an employee that is no longer there. Dr. McFayden took care of the issue no problem and no questions asked. She is a super sweet doctor and I love all of the employees. I have 4 kids that wear glasses/contacts and my husband and I wear glasses and contacts and we have never had an issue with the glasses breaking. My kids started wearing glasses at a young age and they never broke any. They are all teenagers now and still haven't had an issue. My oldest daughter who is now 18 had to replace some contacts that didn't feel comfortable on her eyes and she exchanged them no problem and no questions asked. We started going here at first because we had Caresource insurance and she is one of the few doctors to accept that. But now we have VSP and we still go here. I would definitely recommend:) And I have never seen the office dirty.

They do not stand behind their product they refuse to take care of their customers their products are very poorly made my son has had two pairs of glasses the frame has split around the lens first pair lasted about a month second pair lasted a week

I've been a patient of Dr. McFadyen since 2014, and she has also treated both of my parents. Her exams are very thorough, and she explains all the options in clearly understandable terms. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I've been treated by various eye doctors since 1978, and Dr. McFadyen is the best of them so far. Highly recommend.

The staff is untrained and can’t even give you the right write paper work to fill out when you first get there. The office is dirty. The staff has messed up my perception several times. Will never be going back or recommending to a single person.

Fantastic, friendly staff. Upon reading the previous review about the place being dirty, don't understand. They wipe down each machine before you are tested. The place is a little outdated but definitely clean and comfortable. Dr. Mcfadyen is very thorough and explains all options to me. I have been going for a few years now and will continue to be a patient and continue referring my friend's and family.

Absolutely horrible staff. They messed something up with my insurance to were my husband and I couldn't get new glasses like we were supposed to this year. And they were told how to fix it to where we would be able to and they said they dont do that when I was told by my insurance that is all they had to do! I will not reccomend this place to anyone and looking for a new eye care place!
