Warehouse Mckesson reviews
17I have two sons that work here. Both love their job this is a great place to work great environment.
Mckesson Medical. First off, if you are delivering there, ignore the sign at the entrance. Shipping is left and receiving is RIGHT. Go to the Northwest side of the building. There are two docks. 100 and 101, I think. One says "Ring the bell" or something like that. If you are delivering to Mckesson Medical, and one of these docks is open. PARK YOUR TRAILER into it. This will hold your spot in line. If you don't know yet, you can park along the fence and wait your turn there. Your appointment is more of a "guideline" than anything set in stone, so you may as well park and see. Then walk in to the caged driver waiting area. (door further up along the building and up the stairs) Let them know who you are and where you are and give them your paperwork. These folks are busy busy during the day. The women working the day shift are a delight to witness working together. The crew working at night typically unload the medical stuff, so you might have to wait for them, you might not.
Patience and a positive attitude will grease the wheels and give you a better experience.
These folks seem to have too much product. Lots coming in and not enough going out. Felt like they weren't in any rush to meet and greet yet another delivery driver. Also, you'll notice there are boxes in pallets stacked everywhere. Are they unpacking the pallets right on the unloading area? Know these guys are doing their best given the limited space they have, but jeez this stop is taking forever. I'm am employee for my chosen trucking company who insists safety is top priority. The polar vortex is dangerous and slowing us down. My delivery was a day late and this caused them to delay unloading by more hours than my tired mind has lost track of. The night crew had to call the owner and "reschedule" and I'm certain the only reason they unloaded that night, and not the following morning, was because I was able to maintain a positive attitude.
Very bad experience, still not unloaded even after 5 hours. Drivers don't book loads delivering to this place.
Depends which location you're going to the one on Centerpoint Drive is kind of screwed up they only used to dock doors and while you're checking in other trucks that have been there before and know the process come zipping and take your door. And it seems like the drivers that are there all the time that the dock people know always get taken care of first
Capstone lumper scam in effect. $175 to get unloaded. McKesson must be broke. Drive around the building to the northwest corner to check in to receiving.
Absolutely trash! This place took 3 hours just to get me my paperwork. I asked the guy how much longer and he shrugged his shoulders without a comment
Delivery starts 8pm. Broker got me 8am appt and was told to come back 8pm. Checked back 7: 30pm to deliver 5 pallets. It’s 1000pm and am still here. Broker lied and shipper can’t get 5 pallets off in 10 mins. Did I mention there was $175 lumber for 5 pallets.
Take way to long to just get paperwork, The trlr was unloaded in 30 min, just a very long wait on BOLs 2hrs and still nothing
Good company but a very bad choice on having them do delivery to your place of business, they use other low class companys (Ohio Overnite) to do there expedite and they will damage your place of business front and not take responsibility.
It happened to be I had a 23: 30 delivery appt so it made the delivery that much easier even though there's not a lot of room to back in but receiving seems to like their jobs because they were very friendly and helpful
Just a bunch of great people working there! They were very understanding with my trouble shipment and did everything they could to help! Thank you
I have been sent here twice, so far, to get unloaded. Both experiences were pleasant. In and out in less than 1 1/2 hour (including checking in to paying lumper and receiving bills). Signs up asking you to only arrive 30 minutes early and exit the premises immediately when empty.
I came in 5pm they held me till 11pm matter fact their dock doors doesn't have lights at night, it is dark and they got too metals on the side of their docks which is gonna damage your door if you don't get out and look million times, they told me to pay 165 unloading, over all it is horrible company.
Bad company to work for they are big liar they used all employees they not care and they not used steel toe shoes or glows or hair net they work with medication and supply tgat they go to hospita, farmacy, and people home is not igienic to touch this idem or to not wear hair net, bad company
Had to wait 6 hrs for a dock and I was the only truck there except for local delivery vehicles but local truck s did not have to wait!
Good luck getting a job here if your over 30! When a 22 year old interviews you & makes you feel like your the adult.lol. This is not a company to work for if they can't even have mature supervisors
Racist management. No respect for others. No work ethics and full of blabbing. Big talk no work.
