Tamika seen my son for 5 minutes and said she couldn't watch my son. She got smart with me and told me that my son who turned 3 07/21/2020 was not able to be accommodated. Tamika was very judgemental and biased it was children louder then my child at the daycare. She said based off of 5 minutes with my son she can't watch him. Tamika told me it was a spot available for my son and if she would have never met him when I was filling out my documents to enroll him she would have never said that. She needs to be fired or reevaluated she is unqualified for her position. She refused to read his medical statement that says he was slightly delayed. She proceeded to ask me why I transferred daycares insinuating that it was due to his behavior and I never had a complaint with anyone about his behavior. I simply relocate and got a better job that's why he's been to other daycares. My child deserves a real chance and if she would have let him come with me instead of insisting on watching him I wouldn't have been inconvenienced. My son's title 20 was transferred to the daycare and I come in to fill the paperwork out and the moment she was to let me get my child she refused. She should have let my son come to me I was directed to watch my child while I filled out paperwork and she decided to watch him and judge my child turning me away. If I can give negative zero stars I honestly would. Tamika has a terrible attitude and lied and said she would give my number to corporate.

McKinley Early Childhood Center is a wonderful place for little ones to thrive! The emphasis on education, caring staff, and financial assistance availability make it a standout daycare in Akron. The kids love the outdoor playground and all of the fun activities they do!

The most unprofessional place I have ever worked at. They close when they want just terrible.

The director is so unprofessional and never apologizes or own up to anything they do wrong.

The director seem to pick about everything and had her favorites that could do no wrong. I left as a employee as she called her self ended my service i had enough the stressful days and walking on eggs shells whether to ask a question or inform. When I tell her what a parent say something I would tell the director and nothing would get done about it.
