MCL Restaurant & Bakery Whitehall

Friendly, peaceful, and accommodating. I would recommend it for large families, businesses, at home, in the park, or even in the restaurant. There are plenty of choices for food, entrees, and desserts for adults and children. Great all the way around.

Food was okay but portions were small and price was high. $50 for two people with very small portions.

I had the Salisbury steak with mushroom gravy, mashed potatoes and green beans and lemon meringue pie and a coffee. Was almost 20$. That is way too much for food that's similar to Tee Jaye's. Won't be eating there again any time soon.

This is the best Cafeteria that I’ve been in the last 20+ years! Food was just a little pricey however for the quality and serving sizes OK! Food was hot and fresh. Service was awesome. I hope that they stay in business and this 71 yr man plans on making this a frequent place to go when I’m in Columbus Ohio. PSS the food tasted so good.

After the manager, Jim left food quality and cleanest has gone downhill. I got the stuffed chicken breast it was not good it was rubbery. I think it was under cooked. My sweet potatoes were cold and the broccoli was hard and not cooked enough. Some line servers had such long artificial nails that interfered with holding the plate while dishing out the food. They had their hands on plate and occasionally fingernails in food. In my opinion, that's too long and if they can't handle a plate they probably can't wipe their behind so I think it's unsanitary. They don't wear gloves. Some have hair extensions hanging down without hair nets flopping near the food. I've gone to MCL for several years, but I don't plan continuing as a customer because I think it's declining.

Why why why when I get the fried chicken (white) and substitute the wing for a leg it’s $3 more? That’s dumb and one of the reasons why you’ll be out of business soon!

I got the vegetable plate. The food was fresh, healthy and good. The cake was moist and delicious. This is my healthy go to place.

Always Courteous and Attentive To what You want and How You would like something. The place is always clean and Food is Great. (For Best Food Quality of Hot foods, be sure to visit at least 2-3 hours before closing. Not the Greatest Quality 1 1/2 hours or less before closing on Hot Foods)

I was one of the opening crew members when MCL Eastland opened. It has long since closed its doors. This is the first time I've eaten at MCL since then. I gotta say, much of what I ate was just as good as I remember. Plus the staff were great and friendly and the manager, Drew, was awesome! I'll go back for sure!

Absolutely delicious, clean, quiet. I got work done too! Unfortunately i want a nap now! Ash was a wonderful server!

Great, helpful staff, good food, but the facility could use a deep clean and update. Slippery, greasy-feeling floors, sticky surfaces (even restroom doors?), very aged carpet, wallpaper, and decor in general. An exit door from one of the 'private' dining rooms was blocked by the storage of a spare table and media tech equipment.

Excellent place to fellowship, dine and catch up with family, friends, church members, co-workers and others.

Food looked good. Would have been better if it wasn't all cold. Staff was nice. But overpriced for what it was; cold and instant potatoes. Maybe it was our timing.

Extremely Courteous Staff! I only was able to get one wing, didn't realize the setup was cafeteria style! Looooved it! Wing was great, Atmosphere was clean and welcoming! I love an hour and 40 minutes away, however I will be making that drive soon!
