5When dealing with elderly people how about blowing the horn or knocking on the door to let them know you are there not just sitting in the driveway for 5 minutes and leaving. If my mother misses dialysis she dies so thanks for pulling in the driveway and leaving without her. Really great service. Then 2 weeks later you drop her off at dialysis and then never pick her up. Great job medina county transit!
I think it would be great if you just added bus stops around town more and advertised to everyone not just the elderly and disabled really
I was trying today to talk to someone on the phone about scheduling for my daughter and that lady Diana Nicols I think that was her name … was so rude talking over me, asking me questions but not giving me the time to answer it. I know all places are short on help but I think a little bit of patience to explain and clarify things still a standard of any position you hold at your job, it was not like I was asking her a favor or the bus ride will be FOR FREE.
So today we had a ride scheduled but the bus never showed, we call up and they sent the bus to our old address which is a year old now and told us we have to reschedule despite us getting rides at our new residence many times before today for similar rides. This has happened a few times in the past 6 months where they say our address on file is incorrect despite us telling them we have changed the address before in the past times they didn't get it right and we had to wait another day for the same trip.
Ps, we scheduled a week in advance. Double check your rides and where they are going for pickup and dropoff it's unfair to the people who pay for these rides
Scheduling is a mess. You get there way too early or way too late. I've gotten to doctors offices well before they're open. I've had to leave therapy early to catch the bus home. They often say they can only take me one way or not at all. Scheduling is never done on time anymore. You're regularly told to call back. There are a lot of great drivers, but some of them are reckless. Some of them blast the radio. I am grateful for the service, but it's increasingly declining.
