I have been to emergency vets before with other fur-babies. Our experience here tonight was great, except for the situation. We didn't have half the wait I have had at other places. My doggo has many old man problems, and is afraid of doctors. He loves the people here! He went in and came out with his tail wagging. They were very helpful with information and support for me. I would 100% recommend this location based on my experience tonight. It also cost about 50-75% less than what I was expecting based on previous experience at other places.

This place is great! Trustworthy with your pets! Every time I've needed them especially for an emergency they got my pet in that day. Highly recommend

Our puppy was hit by a car. Thankfully, she only has a couple very small fractures in her forearm. The staff was very kind and patient.

The people working at Med Vet are incredible, always very kind. The office is always very clean. I've been to Med Vet several times, and have always had a positive experience.

Worth the 90 minute drive.
They took amazing care of our pup Jasmin. We got in quick, they gave us complete care plan for her treatment with the cost. When we picked her up the cost was less than the quote, and they adjusted our bill. For the follow up the Doctor came and gave us the prognosis and removed her bandages. Some of the staff came out to tell her buy. I will go back if necessary. We'll worth the 90 minute drive

They took very good care of our dogs. Even though they were extremely busy and had several emergencies my dogs were still important to them.

MedVet was very helpful and caring. They ended up having to hospitalize my dog but I could tell they took care of him like his was their own. Thanks for much for taking care of Donnie!

Our Shih poo puppy Humpy Bogart got stung in the eye by something at our cabin 45 minutes from the vet. We didn't realize that it was yellow jackets until the next day when my husband got stung. At the time we thought it was a snake or black widow and we were in full panic mode on the drive. They were fantastic! I was able to fill out our info beforehand so they took him right away. The nurses and doctors were so helpful and professional. My stress level went down immediately! He got a sedative and some Benadryl as his eye slowly went down. The truth is he probably would have been just fine, but at the time I was freaking out. The bill wasn't too bad and I saw they had payment plans. The staff here are awesome!

Very professional and addressed our Bentleys breathing problem. Took care of it promptly, just delayed by an emergency c-section. But, ours was not life threatening. They ruled out any other problems, came home, and with treatment of medication, he is back to normal. Just stress from moving. ThNk you from the bottom of our hearts

If I could give 5 negative stars it still wouldn't convey my horror at the way they treated me and my Baby Boy. He was only 7 yrs old. My cat was dying and I knew it but was desperately trying to save him and ran there for help. I clearly stated that I had the office visit fee and would pay it gladly but if there was nothing that could be done I only had $400 to my name to last me for two weeks so couldn't waste any money. My cat was already massively distressed and past the point of no return but I Sat there for four hours while they had him in back seizing in a cage covered in urine running pointless tests and sent me home with useless prescription meds I never even opened - pills for a cat that could no longer stand or swallow. They finally brought him out to me after four hours, so distressed that his legs were stiffly fully extended and he was frantically flailing with all of his claws fully extended, his eyes were blankly staring and he was COVERED in urine and saliva. And they charged me $437!? ! He died in my arms four hours later. It was the most unconscionable treatment I couldn't ever have imagined. Every fiber in my being tells me this was a total lack of every moral and ethical standard for a medical practice.

Do not waste your time coming here regardless of your emergency. I sat here for 4+ hours from midnight until 4: 45am just for them to say my cat is fine but they highly recommend we buy medicine from them. Wasted $800 on basically nothing (bloodwork that they “highly recommended” and Medicine) and made be wait almost 5 hours on a Friday night when they weren’t busy. Pathetic scam vet never come here. All I hear is talking and laughing in the office even though there are customers that are urgent to get news on there sick/ injured animals. Worst experience I’ve ever had. Would give negative stars if I could.

My experience at medvet was excellent. My cat came in with critically low blood sugar at 1 am due to the over prescription of insulin by his former primary vet. We had to drive an hour from Athens Ohio to see them but they got him in as soon as we got there and gave us a room to wait in while he was being seen. They gave him life savings care and got him to a stable point. They are rather expensive because they are an emergency vet and the deserve to be paid for their overnight hours. They wanted to keep him for observation and tests however I am a broke college student and I simply did not have the money for that. The vet tech was absolutely amazing and talked to us about options and we got to take him home that night and do at home monitoring. They were incredibly understanding of our situation and gave us the best advice and care for what we could afford. They truly did save my cat's live and I will recommend them to anyone who has an animal in a critical state.

These girls were absolutely amazing. We had to take our pup in the induce vomiting because he ate something he shouldn’t have. These girls were so upbeat and compassionate to everyone who walked in. Saw a few trauma dogs that came in and they were welcoming, reassuring, bubbly, and amazing. No one wants to have to go to an emergency vet, but these girls take that pressure off you. I honestly can’t say enough good things about them. They are doing work I could never imagine having to do with hurt animals coming in all night (I could never do it in a million years). I appreciate every employee in here for the amazing work they do… and with an amazing attitude.

You guys did not hesitate to take my cats back there as soon as I got there. I had been updated of everything before administering medicines.

Before medvet took over this place was very reasonably priced and they did follow up calls.
The staff is still very nice but you walk out with a nearly 500 dollar bill just for a dogs paw to be examined to find out they can't do stitches. Luckily, the bill was down to 350. But still awfully expensive to get meds I have at home and mentioned I won't need.

Again the staff was great. Very nice staff, but medvet corporation is ridiculous with their prices. I am not a fan of medvet and how they price things.
