Mei Japanese Restaurant, Cincinnati OH

The food was great. It's not always possible to get good sushi around here, especially we are far from ocean and in the area with not much of Asian population. However, we were surprised by the quality of their food. The nigiri were great.
We were also surprised by the price. It was expensive, but I think I will come back here when I crave for sushi.

If you wanted to find a quiet, relaxing dinner experience, this place is it. The best sushi I ever had and the staff is super friendly. Lots of choices for food options. Great authentic Japanese restaurant!

Best Japanese restaurant in town. Desert is the only thing that left a little to be desired but the main entrees I've had so far have all been great.

Phenomenal food, and lovely staff. The Katsu Curry Udon is incredible as well as the Nigiri, and if you save room the green tea ice cream makes a fantastic light desert.

We had our anniversary dinner here and had a great time with great food and drink! It was a little hot inside, but everything else made up for it. The waitress was extremely friendly and attentive. All of our food tasted amazing!

Incredible sushi every single time. I have yet to have anything from mei that I dont love.

Love this place. The food is delicious and the servers are kind and attentive. The restaurant is very cute, with both western style seating and traditional Japanese low tables. The hotpot is to die for, but the other entrées and sushi have never disappointed, either. Definitely recommend either the ramen or the hotpot with duck! They've recently added a wider range of desserts as well, all of which sounded great.

This is one of the best restaurants I've ever eaten at. Truly authentic, even down to REAL hot ginger tea.

I got the fried oysters, the vegetarian ramen, and the chocolate mousse. Everything was absolutely on point, very healthy, perfect size, ratios and flavors, and comfortable atmosphere.

We need more places like this in the US.

The best Japanese restaurant in the Cincinnati area. Fantastic atmosphere,  from the cuisine to the service. Tina was wonderful.

I did takeout. As usual, it was ready when promised and delicious. My family has eaten there or ordered takeout for many years.

This is my new favorite place. The quality of the sushi is well above the other local restaurants. The price of the food reflects the quality. Great service. Full bar.

De-li-cious! I love coming here, they have great and authentic japanese cuisine and the staff is super friendly! The place is pretty too, they have tatami rooms.

This place is my all time favorite restaurant in Cincinnati. Everyone is so friendly and I've never had a bad bite of food. From ramen to sushi everything is just so good. I take everyone here when they visit the area.
