Memorial Hall OTR reviews
13Beautiful backdrop to a fascinating, inspiring speaking engagement with first speaker Dr. Mary Frances Berry.
First time experiencing this venue, came away impressed! Our seats were 2nd row from the stage, so we had an up close intimate experience. Great sound!
We came to see We Banjo 3, it was a great show. Friendly staff, but there was a lot of going back and forth in front of us, whether it was to talk to other staff or tell people to put their mask on. So we would have enjoyed less of that. The seats aren’t too comfortable but if you’re up and down for music/dancing, it’s not too bad. The venue could maybe use some kind of fans just to help with airflow when you have to wear a mask for a couple hours or so. Overall, we enjoyed our time, looking forward to returning for future shows!
Wonderful location
Beautiful in appearance
Friendly people
Excellent performance by Ladysmith black mambazo
There is not a bad seat in the hall. Acoustics were amazing. Really great venue, hope to see many more shows here!
Great intimate venue. I saw Graham Nash there twice
This is a one of a kind experience. Try to sit on first level. The balcony is two floors up by stairway. So it is a small climb. You feel farther back of course. But to get the real intimacy get tickets first floor.
The building is beautiful and good accoustics. It is worth the price of admission just to see this historical landmark.
My first time at Memorial Hall did not disappoint. My night ended up being maybe the best of the past 2 years! Great staff (volunteers?) and a gorgeous, intimate theatre. I am keeping my eye on upcoming shows so I can go again.
We went to recent Beatles show featuring The Newbees. The sound was awful. Jarring system overload.horrible. Memorial Hall is not designed for 15 piece bands. Acoustic band of 5 or less yes. They should have had 4 piece and some quiet background vocals…. Really bad.
Great, but warning, front row seats are extremely close to the stage. It is small, all main floor seats are great.
We had a great time seeing the Newbees! Great venue! Really great band! Adorable usher in upper balcony!
Loved Memorial Hall! A beautiful gem of a theater. Lots of history and a wonderful venue. Look forward to returning there soon!
Beautiful sound in this Hall no matter where you sit. Alberto Cano Smit was a talent to remember. His brain is one with the piano and the communication is thru those powerful hands! Question and answer period was so personal at the end of the concert.
