Menards, Massillon OH

Knowing where abouts of products, quick in and out. No clerks available as couldn't find box on shelves. Guy ended up from another dept helping me find what I wanted. Was on shelf but products mixed with others made it hard to find. Have trouble walking also, no electric chair with basket available so got no cases if water. Some products on shelves had no stickers on them making it easier to find different products.

Store is clean, prices are cheap, just know that their rebates are checks that can only be used to buy more stuff at Menards. They are not able to be cashed.

Ordered shiplap online. Said order was ready for pickup. Went to pickup. Turns out I have to go get it and find it all. Then they did not have enough boards which makes no sense because it said the order was ready and that they had enough in stock. Now I have to make two trips because they hadn't unloaded their truck when I was there this morning. Poor system to say the least.

They sell pretty much all your needs in house and outside of house. Garage needs to lawn needs. The layout of store makes it easy to navigate and get your items quickly. The staff isn't pushy yet are on standby awaiting your questions.

Very rude cashier. She seemed to think that instructing me on my lifestyle was her business. I like the store but the employee (s)
Need to do their jobs instead of policing the customers.

Not your average home improvement store. It is a great all in one shop, especially for men. Everything from hardware to food and some clothes.

When you want to return something they are lying and saying they dont have cash so you take in store credit. You dant have to take store credit demand cash they gotta get it. They have it.

I bought a 50 gal water heater, a good reem brand. I needed the hardware to install it myself but I needed a man who was familiar with the names of the parts. This 20 something kid spoke so fast I told him to slow down. He could not set me up with the hardware because he had little knowledge of the plumbing parts. There is 2 inlet hoses, a gas line fitting and nothing else. I pointed out minards has display water heater so could he show me by looking at them the parts. He said" You can find the sizes in the new heater diagram you bought"I I told him to his face"you don't know much of anything do you? " He agreed.so I was at a loss to buy anything. I told him to leave as he gladly got away to be a num skull for another customer. Ace hardware outfitted my heater. Minards could have closed a sale with a knowledgeable more helpful sales clerk. This guy's help was below a 1 A man tells me to seek sizes out of my own heater list why do I need him? Lowes and Ace hardware will get you what you need with a friendly attitude. Ace replaced 1 hose for free and charged me for `1 hose, all the pipes and nipples, Without the hassel of explaining to him names of plumbing parts

If I could give zero stars I would. This store lost a huge sale today because of a very rude associate. She was completely irritated she had to help us, then she screamed at us. Seriously, this is your job, you should be fired. We use to shop here on the regular, NEVER AGAIN!

I just bought some 16 foot pieces of trim, I was going down the highway and they broke in half on me where the manufacturer had seamed two pieces together to make 16 Footers. If I pay for a 16-footer I expect to get a 16 foot board, not two 8 foot boards seamed together.

We ordered lumber to be delivered. Lumber was to be delivered between 7am and 12pm. Delivery was not made until 1pm, no phone call or anything, while my contractor and crew sat at my house waiting. Called for a partial refund of the $109 delivery fee, and Menards just gives you the run around! Will not deal with them for any more projects, even though they were $30 cheaper, I would rather pay the extra $30 for materials then be out over $100 in labor cost.

Menards is your one stop shop for everything honestly. My first problem with this place is. I spend money everytime. I always find stuff I need at great prices (honestly). I save a lot of money shopping here for all my home improvement needs. The reason I am giving 4 stars is that the customer service has always been hit or miss for me. Other than that its a wonderland of everything.

I spoke with Phil. He is the hardware manager. We had a problem with a puchase and he solved it immediatley. He is very courteous and a asset to Menards. You can't find a better place to shop!

A couple days ago i came in wanting to get some things for stuff i was working on around my house.i usually send my husband to places like these because i have no idea what i'm looking for most of the time.i stopped to ask one of the employees Ken where somthing was but he was too occupied yelling at another employee to help me!? ! Like are you joking me? What kind of store lets their employees treat each other like that, especially in front of the customers? This place is a joke.they have no respect for their paying customers let alone them selves.in my opinion just go to lowes down the road.greeted me right away and helped me find what i needed.menards managers take note.

Just needed 1 roll of insulation. Pouring down raining and they wanted me to walk out of building to the farthest part of the property and carry it back into the building and then go thru check out. I went to lowes instead

You should have shade and a water pale for the horses that Amish bring. Those poor things look hot and exhausted out there.

O. K.if you are just looking for ordinary, run of the mill items and don’t care about quality or service. The employees apparently are not trained to ask customers if they can help them. Most of the associates are kids who just don’t care. They will look straight at you and then ignore you as you shop.

Virtually every household item needed for the home or apartment, the staff went all out to help. A few more scooters would help those who need scooter assistance

Lacking in customer service. Prices were hard to find. Check out was strange. Someone scans and I bag? And I have to get a different cart? It was assumed I knew all this. Not one associate spoke to me from start to finish. 3 different prices on same product, another on a random shelf way way up high. My husband had to knock it down with a garden hook. We never found the price for the fence we were looking at. Trees were all knocked over and laying down uprooted from their containers so I decided not to spend $100 on one. I had impression of chaos and unorganization.

Awful experience. You spend 700 dollars on equipment used once that fails, and what do they say? Take it to a service center. And spend more money to fix a one time use brand new pressure washer. Well done Menards. Will never use you again and will tell everyone not to go because your customer service is atrocious.
