Menards, Loveland OH

I always find great items at menards, often cheaper than their competitors. However, they are listed as "dog friendly" but the sign on their door clearly says "No Pets" We found this out the hard way as we took our 6 month old pup the for some socialization. We're decided to drive 2 towns over to Menards instead of going to the Lowe's store right up the street because we're decided it was time to take him somewhere new. Once we got there we're realized he couldn't go in after all so my husband stayed outside while I picked up my gardening items and then I had to stay outside while he got him tools and lumber. Took us twice as long to shop, which got us home late, which had us working outside after dark.
They need top make sure they are NOT on the lists if dog friendly places on the various databases.

Stay away from any big purchases! As a small contractor this is the absolutely worst experience ever. Spent over $9,000 on a small kitchen remodel and counter tops were horrible. There complaint process is a joke! Midwest manufacture which make counters owned by Menard's and just keep passing the buck. I would give them zero or minus stars if possible. I know my 250k that i spent in the last 2 years at home depot and lowe's is just a drop in the bucket to them but they will never see another penny!

This store is terrible and customers mean nothing to them. I have never been treated as terrible as at this store for presenting a valid issue to management. I rented a store truck to take mulch I purchased home. The truck had a low tire light on an airbag light on and the blower did not work. I was not going to wait in line while being charged a rental rate that is timed. Not to mention spending 20 minutes of paid time to have the mulch loaded while employee have a smoke break. Store manager cares nothing about customers and is very arrogant. If there is an issue good luck at getting it resolved. He even admitted he has no problem renting an unsafe truck out. I am giving this store a 1 star not Menards as a whole. The Evendale Menards close to this store is absolutely great. They actually care about the customer and are happy to help with any issues. My advice is don't waste your time at the Loveland store. Drive the few miles down the road to the Evendale store. In the end you will be glad you did. They also stock a lot more items at the that location.

Wish there was one closer to us near Milford.

Ed in the garden center was great. Nice to talk to, and very helpful.

CAUTION: If you buy an item from Menards online store DO NOT RETURN TO LOCAL STORE. The local store will charge you a 25% restocking fee. For products valued over $100 this gets to be a rediculous amount of money.

Beautiful, well stocked and well organized store, cashier was friendly (another staff person wasn't. He was obviously miserable and hopefully for everyone 's sake will quit soon).

It's ok for what it is. This location floor staff not so helpful and attitude isn't so great. As with any discount store, less on some things, more on others. If price is your only criteria, Walmart still cheaper.

The worst customer service I have ever encountered ANYWHERE. I'm concerned that you will read that and see "worst customer service I have encountered at any home improvement store". That's not what I'm saying. I literally mean the worst customer service ANYWHERE. EVER.

Always find more than what I came in there for, lol! Definitely have everything I could possibly need for any project I'm doing!

I love Menards, its a great place to shop, my fav is loveland store on Montgomery road, bought thousands of dollars of. Great lakes engineered hardwood floor- its fabulous

NEVER BUY Pavers from Menards, they don’t match and the store and corporate headquarters don’t seem to care about the results. 2 store managers and written letters proved futile. These people could care less about customer satisfaction. I will take my business elsewhere.

Went in to make correction on item they charged me twice for. Cashier was nice but had to go through multiple calls for approval. I shop there weekly but felt lucky to get money back. Took 15 minutes for a mistake they made

This is a 5 star store that unfortunately made a 1 star decision to place boxes with the pillow guy’s face on them right at the checkout lanes. Since he decided to become a representative of a small political minority in our country, I believe that his product and the associated pictures of his face belong only in the area of the store that one would go for his products. Otherwise, it makes it appear that the store supports that small political minority and not the entire community that it serves. I am a big fan of Menards and this store seems far better than the competition. I know that they can make better decisions in this divisive political era. Even the pillow guy must accept consequences for his actions.

Black Friday sale. Got there at 8 and was open at 6. Out if a lot if stuff and very long and slow moving lines.

We purchased online then picked up at the store. It was fast, efficient and the product was as expected. We didn't even have to enter the store. Pickup was located in the back where someone was stationed to help.

Sometimes there are some good deals, it's just a strange experience between the odd mishmash of products and unorthodox checkout lanes. I'm never sure where to go and the cashiers seem condescending.

Plenty of options available in this massive store, but customer service was very lacking. Passed over 10 different Menards employees during my visit and not a single person even said hello. Sad when the only person that greeted me was a person trying to actively sell NRG electric.

Cheap tools and other household things. If you are trying something and don't need it urgently, scan their ads weekly and it will come on sale sooner or later. Particularly like their mail in rebate. You get store credit for the next purchase.

I will never give Menard's my Business again. They were 5 days late delivering my Shingles for my roof and when I complained and asked for my shipping to be refunded I was pretty much told I was lying. I had 3 separate employees lie to me at this store. I was promised a date that they would be delivered and they were not.

I'm also filing a complaint with the BBB, Consumer Complaint with the Attorney General, and I will be posting the e-mail chain across social media.

Great selection, helpful people and pretty good prices also.andthis location everything is on one level.
