Menards, New Philadelphia OH

Found almost everything I needed very easily. Had no problem getting help to lift a heavy item for me. Not to crowded and had plenty on the shelves.

Menards is a great place for the diy person. It's a large store where you can find the unexpected items too. They also have a wonderful Christmas shop during the holidays

I have a love/hate relationship with this place.they have so much of what we need for our home improvements at great prices but customer service is pretty hit or miss.they've held up our kitchen remodel by not adding things from our design, we made there, onto our supply order and giving us returns with missing pieces instead of the new merchandise we paid for.will probably not be going here for our next big project.

The people who run this menards in philly is so unfair and not understanding. It took me 4 times to fill out there applications in order for them to hire me because they wouldnt get back to me, the first week i worked here i was sent home because i couldnt afford shoes at the time. Im an 18 year old girl who is now experiencing life on my own. I told them i wouldnt have money for my shoes till that Saturday because my last check was coming in from a seasonal job. Instead of them helping me out i was wrote up for not coming into work when they were the ones who sent me home, few weeks go by and i realize there was $200 missing from my purse i kept in my locker. I was very upset to find out they seen nothing on the cameras. I was sent home for being so upset. I came into work the next day with 4 write up sheets. 1 being they marked me as a no call no show even tho there was proof of me being there. I was fired yesterday because i called in to work for a bad reaction to a new medication. I did not go to doctors because i dont have insurance. When i came back from being sick i worked a whole 7 hour shift before they told me i was fired because i had 10 points. Points that in my case werent fairly added. This place doesnt care about there employees. I heard over and over again while working at menards that we were over staffed. I believe they truly fired me because of that but they just dont have the balls to be honest to employees. $15 an hour only lasts till January because of covid pay. My counseler is having government officials get involved. I told the gm and he hung up on me.

As always it is a very good experience when shopping at Menards. Everything is always clean an easy to find. The employees are always kind an ready to help. Even when they walk past you doing their jobs they say hi an ask if you need help finding something? Great place to shop.

Very disappointing, nobody knew their area or job. Lots of people standing around not doing anything, of course they probably couldn't help if they tried. The best employee I spoke to was the gate attendant the let me out of the lumber yard. I strongly recommend lowes after this experience

Bought a toilet that leaked and they wouldn't take it back even though I had a receipt. Won't be shopping there again

They really need better help in the yard. Sometimes you can get help and other times its a ghost town. A couple times they expected me to know where to find the material and I had no help in loading

Everything went well during my purchase of a new washer. I had to wait a little while during the purchase process, however I fully understand that everyone is working short at the current time. The young lady that helped me load the washer was fantastic. Great shopping experience overall.

Hi I called in to ask about an item and the lady who answered the phone gave me a rude attitude and then hung up on me right telling me no, guess I won't go here.

They were loading up sheet metal on to my trailer and tore up one of my 2x8 boards, about 1/2 deep, for about 6 feet. They would not give me a replacement board and said there was "nothing they can do". Just for that, I will never shop at menards again.

Never been to a store as many times as I have and have yet to have one of the employees ask me if I need help for anything. Most of them just walk around and won't even look at you even though you're looking for something. I think 95% of employees they hire don't have a clue about their area they're working in or the products I have walked up and down aisles looking for a product and employees just don't even pay attention to you.just unbelievable, customer service is terrible.
