Hardware Store Menards reviews
33Love the store, but the employees today were extremely rude! The way they stock & price makes it a little hard to understand! They also are not friendly w/ children! For sure we will just make the drive to a different location! The staff matches the area I should have known!
Impossible to find someone to help you in the outdoor section. The employees I asked were too lazy to actually assist me, just pointed me to the carts to load up my own mulch. Go to Oakland if you can instead of this garden center.
Lots to choose from. Sales people are not obnoxious and asking if you need help constantly. But the check out person, AND their manager, had a very hard time inputting a manufacturer coupon. Like, took 13 mins to do so.
Once again, I go, stand in line at the back to order the 2 x 4s and then walk to the opposite side of the store and stand in line to pay, then back to the parking lot, drive around the building, see the yard dude (no line for once), he doesn't know where the 7-foot 2x4s are so I drive around until I find them. As I'm loading, great, there's a giant swarm of black carpenter ants in the middle of the pile, thousands of eggs, when I disturbed the nest they spread everywhere. So I shut my doors, drove to the yard exit, explained and counted, drove to the front and parked and locked up, then walked to the entrance and a girl told me at the counter a guy would come and fix my receipt. Several minutes there, was told by the guy that I was at the wrong counter, directed to walk to the far side of the store and waited there. Finally got my refund, and left with half the 2x4s I needed. Every time I go there I promise myself I won't be back, maybe I can stick to it this time. It might be near my house but again, no savings in time to play these games. It's less than a 50-50 shot that a lumber order here will work out for me.

Experience was really going good until they pass me off to somebody who didn't even want to be there we'll see how it finishes up when I go up to pick up my materials
Waiting patiently at a deserted area to no avail, I've seen quite a few staff members but no help thus far
All I can say is wow. Not only is this place huge, they have everything a home needs. On top of that they had the exact door and tool I needed when three other name brand companies could not and would not help. The service was excellent and very helpful in regards to finding what I needed. I would highly reccomend this store for any of your home needs, be it new construction or basic upkeep.
Menards in my opinion, is so much better, cleaner, and less expensive than Lowe's and Home Depot. Not to mention rebates on every purchase.
25% restocking fee, lost $200. I spent over $8,000 here in the last year, and that still wasn't enough, got to get every penny out of people. I'll be shopping elsewhere now.
Menards have everything you need in building a house, Christmas decorations, candy you name it. Cool place to shop.
Seems to have a better selection of items in plumbing and electrical departments but execution of Lumber pickup is poor and time consuming for contractors.
Good until we had to get beaded plywood that u keep out in the rain wish I would have known before purchasing it I would have made a trip to Delaware where they keep it in out of the weather
I love Menard's and this location is great! Bulk supply is easy to get into in the back. They even have pallet recycling for free. Buy your bagged mulch here in the spring; it's typically cheaper than buying by the square yard.
It was great, we got 2 air fryers at alow price and the cashier that worked there unloaded our cart for us
Tried going in multiple times to see about a job, tried calling multiple times to see about a job, and the hiring manager is like a ghost because I keep getting told he's never there (even though they've told me twice now he's in Mon-Fri starting at 6am). I thought jobs wanted dedicated people who really want the job but it's frustrating when no one from management or hiring ever directly speaks with you.
They sold me a very large air compressor that was actually a returned item that was damaged. I had to take it back to Broad St and they handled it very well.
Order process is a little less than straightforward and charge a fee to pick my order. Had to ask where the pickup was way in the back of the store. Staff was helpful.
They were fabulous on this Black Friday! Plenty of staff to help the "zoo" crowd at 6: 45 PM. Thank you for being kind and friendly!
They advertise there the best hardware / home store and they don't carry heavy duty shovels. It's a shame ️.
Got help from a woman who was busy stocking and without hesitation she helped me and I really appreciated her help. It made my visit very quick, Thanks
