Mercy Health - Perrysburg Hospital

Nice hospital my brother was there for surgery nurses was great and friendly and the food was great

Came here for lab work. Sat at registration for almost 1/2 hour clocked in at 9: 49am sat In Chair at registration at 9: 52, it’s 10: 17 am and she still working on my orders. I had 20 lab orders in the system and the lady said her printer prints slow I regularly go to st Charles for the same lab work and I’m in and out of registration in 5 mins. This is B. S! I don’t recommend commenting her for labs if your in a hurry.

My 86 year father was brought by ambulance to Mercy Health in Perrysburg. We did not realize it, but an aneurysm had burst and he coded. The staff worked for 20 minutes, brought him back, and then coordinated with St. V's for emergency transport for surgery. Cannot say enough about the care they gave me and the empathy they gave my family

Sat in the waiting room for over an hour in visible pain. Multiple people being treated, male and female nurse dissappear to a room very unprofessional and unpleasant will not return.

This may be the best kept secret in Perrysburg. We have used this facility for our physician, labs, ER, and xrays. We have never had a bad experience. The staff is wonderful - always. I have one suggestion. The signage on Eckel Junction is terrible. As often as we go there or drive by there, we have to really watch for the Mercy sign. It is low and the lettering does not stand out at all. It gets lost among the other business signs. If you can change anything, please make the road sign brighter and larger.

The cardiologist group here is amazing! And I mean absolutely amazing! The staff and the doctor have great bedside manners. The office is beautiful even.

Totally wonderful experience. My father spent a few days, as he got a lung infection. He is not the easiest patient, and the staff was beyond wonderful. Also, the quietest hospital I have ever been in. So glad we have this in Perrysburg.

Excellent service and patient care. Wish I did mot have to go clear thru the hospital to see my mother on the weehend.

My husband came to this hospital with severe back and stomach pain. After doing CT scan, they told him he h
ad diverticulitis and a mass on his bladder. They did not do contrast CT, not sure why. Sent him home with pain med and antibiotic. Two days later, he is still in pain and developed a fever. Went to our home ER hospital and they did another scan with contrast. They determined he had NO MASS ON BLADDER AND NO DIVERTICULITIS, but had a really bad gall bladder! He had to have surgery next day to have it removed. So- He was totally misdiagnosed here! Very scary and disappointing, as we trusted what they told us was correct. Stay Away from here!
I would truly like a response from ER!

Just moved to Perrysburg and everywhere here was closed at the time and I was dealing with a bad case of sinusitis gone wrong. The nurses and doctor available in the ER were awesome and didn’t try to jab me with an IV needle for sinuses and body aches. They were very knowledgeable and kind. Very patient environment and not short tempered. I think that’s what most people worry about with finding a good hospital or heading to an ER. I trust them wholeheartedly. Way more respectful and hospitable than ProMedica. They don’t make you feel ashamed for seeking help.

Went to see Dr. Kim for a cyst that turned into a abscess (he told me two years ago when he did my excisional biopsy that this could happen). I started having pain last Wednesday and he got me right in on Monday. Came in and assessed me and immediately gave me options on treatment and together we made the decision to go to the OR to have it removed. The whole surgical team was fantastic and I seriously cannot say enough good things about Dr. Kim! Two surgeries with him (praying no more!) and he has provided excellent care each time.

Absolutely love this ER. Very fast pace but efficient. Had a very cool, respectful and kind nurse, Joya. I also loved how the PA Gruenbaum came in, sat down and actually had a conversation with me regarding my medical needs and what she recommended.

I took my wife who has double pneumonia and covid last night and they sent her home! She saw our family doctor today and they sent her to St. Luke's to be admitted. Her oxygen levels were at 85%. They didn't even bother to send her to another hospital. They just sent her home with oxygen. Oh yeah they also gave her an IV which makes covid symptoms worse. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone!

I was hit in the rear today while I was sitting in stopped traffic. I came to this hospital 6 hours ago and I’m still sitting here waiting on X-ray results. I asked how much longer and they said they have no idea. They send all of the X-rays down to Columbus to be read. Why on earth would you not have someone to read them in house? Wow!

This hospital is a joke if i could give 0 stars i would, i spend a week there vomiting and instead of doing any tests to see what’s wrong they just pumped me full of morphine and made me leave after a week, i had to go straight to another hospital that did the tests and actually tried to understand what’s wrong with me. Turns out mercy in perrysburg damaged my pancreas by giving me way too much morphine and made a small stomach bug into a two week painful and agonizing ordeal, do not go here they do not care about your health, GARBAGE HOSPITAL! They destroyed my arms from all the IV’s, i had 4 total infiltrations as well, no education and useless staff

The staff is very efficient and friendly. My husband has been in the ER several times. He is always treated respect. I have had tests done and have gotten quick results.

Been to the ER on a few occasions can't say enough about the friendly staff very impressed with the whole operation wouldn't hesitate to go back
