I was admitted a few days after being in the ICU due to a suicide attempt, and I was really scared and reluctant to go. I was amazed at how much the staff went out of their way to help me. When I first arrived, I could barely walk to the bathroom and back to bed without falling because of the aftermath of the overdose, and I was scared to leave my room to get food or go to groups. They started bringing my tray to my room, and various staff members popped in throughout the day to make sure I was comfortable and pain was minimal. As the day’s rolled on, I started building strength and started going to Julianne’s amazing groups. I’ll never forget making friendship bracelets with her; it was the highlight of my entire stay. My treatment team was the BEST. All of the nurse practitioners truly listened to me and Dr. T is just the nicest psych provider. I am very happy with the changes in my medications and feel so much better. I couldn’t be more proud of the progress I made in my short time there, but I owe it all to my treatment team and the amazing Potier staff. Thank you for giving me my life back

Have been trying 2 hours to book with a psych after being given the wrong number on my referral. I have spoken to about 9 people and all transferred me of cut me off. Came on here looking for yet another number and the reviews say it all. If you are having a mental health crisis based on this experience find an alternative provider! Stressful and still no closer to finding a number. Useless.

This place is ungodly and sick they need reported by more people, they are supporting keeping addicts addicted and forcing prescription drugs upon homeless, addicts, the venerable and the unwilling. Here are contacts to help report them all Mental Health Board, Dept of Health, Joint Commision Board, State Medical Board. Stay Sober & God Bless

This place came a long way in a few short years. I had one on one with doctors, np, and nurses. The staff is freaking amazing and they have the personal skills to talk someone off the edge. 3 meals with snacks in between. Good group conversations and encouragement towards safety planning for outpatient. They however will not let you go until they are sure ur not gonna blow up. You have to be open to their therapy and accept the liabilities they would personal feel if you got out and hurt yourself. I was there for 7 days after some attempts at my life. Came out and feel like truly a new person. THANK YOU STAFF AT MERCY! You were great

This place is HORRIBLE. If you was not depressed or have anxiety when you went in, you certainly have that and more when you finally get out. No therapy, and as everyone else has said group was a joke, played a game called what am I in one group session had to listen to hard metal group music in another. Was given two tiny xmas bells that I could barely barely hear myself to call nurse no one on one with a doctor at all, no phone, no head wrap no masks for clients but staff had to wear mask food always cold not warm refrigerator cold, threats were made if you complained it would not go good for you to get out. The lies the lies they told omg
. 2 phones on the whole floor which I was afraid to use because no one wore masks. I could go on and on but what is the point thank God I am out and pray for those left behind who had no one to advocate for them. The therapist who lied on me at the hospital never made a point to come visit me. Yes I am depressed, yes I have anxiety and yes I have post traumatic stress, but that stay in the behavioral center did not help at all. -1 star

This place is a dungeon. All the staff there treat their patients with cruelty and distain. It's obvious that they have no training for C. P. T. S. D. There's no individual therapy and their group therapy is a joke and a waste of time. They are very abusive in many ways and this place is so pitiful that I wouldn't EVEN send my Dog there for services.
Honestly, I hope that the medical board reads all these complaints of the people who were mistreated and abused in the worst way. Do a random spot check on this place and close them down. It's so bad that I didn't EVEN get a copy of my client rights and greviance procedures. By law they are aspose to provide that and no patient should have to beg for it. It should be readily available. NO Questions asked. Also they put the patient phone in the common area of the hospital asposed to a secluded area of the wing for privacy. The staff takes away cell phones in which it's cruel and inhumane.
