Mercy Health - Queen City Medical Center Emergency Department reviews
5Recent visit on Christmas Eve.they were very kind and assisted me with my concerns regarding my Son. Under the circumstances one of my better ER visits, indirectly. This ER was my Son's choice, he already experienced service in the past.
This hospital is an embarrassing indictment of America's health care system. Absolutely pathetic. Better hope if you come here dying they don't leave you in the waiting room.
If anyone was wondering. THIS IS NOT AN URGENT CARE. THIS IS A FREE STANDING EMERGENCY ROOM PART OF MERCY WEST HOSPITAL. THERE MAY OR MAY NOT BE A WAIT. IF YOU ARE COMING IN FOR NON-LIFE THREATENING COMPLAINTS YOU WILL BE WAITING AND THE PPL WHO ARE ACTUALLY DYING/SEVERELY ILL WILL GO IN FRONT OF YOU. GO TO URGENT CARE/YOUR PCP IF YOU HAVE MINOR ISSUES. EXAMPLES: STD CHECK, YEAST INFECTION, BV, CHILD HAS MINOR COLD SYMPTOMS, ETC. THIS REDUCES PATIENT WAIT TIMES. If you are the one saying "THEY TOOK FOREVER". You can only thank the ppl who came in for their daily STD check for that.
Also, it is apparent most of you don't know how insurance works or don't have insurance at all. Before you start complaining about a bill, do your due diligence on YOUR personal medical insurance. You are to call your insurance to see if mercy doctors are in your network, mercy can't tell you that. You are to know your insurances deductible and max out of pocket. Use your brains ppl!
Best experience I’ve ever had with healthcare. The staff was beyond friendly and comforting.
I was especially impressed in three areas with BOTH my trips to the ER. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. Also, when both doctors discussed the prescriptions they were writing, they asked me what types of muscle relaxants and pain killers I had had. Both doctors prescribed a small amount. The doctors, nurses, and technicians discussed everything before they did it, and asked me what I thought.
