Wasn't happy with Children's cardiology. Wasted trip, money and time! Nothing was done about my son's chest pains and severe palpitations!

Very enjoyable health club. Private showers, great facilities, friendly front desk staff and trainers, great group fitness, tennis pros and facilities are awesome! We get a discount through wife's employment, but cost is a little high without it.

Love this place. Everything you need under one roof. Fitness equipment, classes of every kind, running and walking track, swimming, tennis, clean locker rooms etc. It's a great place with friendly professional staff. Other gripe? Overall cost of membership. But you get what you pay for here. Highly recommend.

First off, this place is over priced as can be. It’s $45 a month which is too expensive especially for a place like mercy healthplex. You need to sign a one year contract with equals out around $560 (including tax) On top of that, the pool is always closed because of swim lessons or whatever they do in there. Usually all the stuff is closed because they do lessons everywhere and you can’t be in there during that time. If you’re just using the gym, save yourself a lot of money and go to planet fitness. I am now $110 overdue and they are getting their collection agency involved when I am not even the card holder and not even 18 years old. This place is pathetic and signed a contract with two minors without ANY proof of identification and now they’re money hungry

Needs some repairs and upgrades, especially considering the high monthly membership fees. Apparently there is a new management company, so hopefully there will be improvements soon. If they get the place back to where it was a few years ago (or better), then I will revisit and upgrade my review.

My wife had surgery and something happened and mysteriously no notes were entered in her chart but had to return ton the ER ther next day complaining about chest pain shortness of breath and lite headed and dizziness. And were told this happens usually from chest compressions.

This place is seriously overpriced considering what a mediocre gym it is. First of all, a good quarter of their equipment is always broken at any point in time and they usually ignore me when I let them know that a machine isn't working. The treadmills and step machines need to be oiled so badly that they screech while in use and I can barely hear my own music.

The locker rooms can be downright disgusting at times. The same glob of hair sat in a shower for over a week, leading me to believe the cleaning staff does a poor job. I refuse to take a shower there anymore because of how often the place smells like someone used a shower as a toilet. I don't recommend using the hot tub because there's usually floating bits of dead skin, not to mention I've seen several older women take off their diapers then get in the tub. No thank you, I don't want to bathe in other people's pee.

Some of their group fitness classes are really cool but unfortunately most are in the middle of the weekday, so I guess they don't want anyone but retirees or stay at home moms attending.

The only part I like is that it's close to my house and so empty that I never have to wait for any machines.

Visited for a tour. Decided not to commit to a required year long membership. Very pricey and none of the services that I would like are included in the cost of membership. The staff was very courteous and the faculty seemed well maintained though.

Nice building. They seem to offer quite a few services. Unfortunately, you may have a walk from your car to the door. This place can be quite busy!

Disgusting. Unless you're dying, keep driving to next closest hospital. I wouldn't take my dog there.

Amazing staff and facility. The new Field classes (think Crossfit/Orange theory type) are included in membership! Everything is included- yoga, cycling, equipment, etc. I’ve got friends that spend $125/ month at a studio and then an additional $20/month at a random equipment gym. HealthPlex has it all for half the cost

Don’t waste your money or time if you plan to use the warm water Therapy Pool. It’s actually a kiddy play pool, and not being watched by parents. It equates to Chuck E. Cheese in the warm water. It’s dirty from diapered children spending hours in the water, and the showers are full of hair. Staff could not care less about complaints. My Mercy Health physician was in disbelief there are kids in the Therapy Pool. They’ve gone completely astray from their advertised purpose.

I am a Founding member and never plan to cancel. They could clean their locker rooms/showers more frequently

It's ok. Not very clean, equipment in disrepair, staff doesn't clean up or organize the weight room.
Locker room showers are pretty gross.
For the price, it is a big disappointment.
