Love Michael's! Usually always have a good deal going on. Found some really cute Halloween decor for the house

Went in looking for the. 99 cent shadow boxes for a new project. Could not find them anywhere. Asked two employees who were sitting in the middle of the floor doing everything except work. They couldn’t be bothered to help me. Asked another employee who told me to look down 2 different aisles. Neither had the shadow boxes. Finally a 4th employee showed me where they should be however the shelf was empty. I asked if she could look in the back. She said no. I said it’s allowing me to place them in a cart online for pickup so they must be here. She hemmed and hawed and finally went to look. Tada! Amazing what a little work can do! Terrible store terrible customer service!

Seems that they have cut back on their merchandise. Certainly not the Michael's I knew from years past. Went to the framing department where they had an older lady working. She was a very nice person, but totally clueless on framing. I chose a matte for a frame to put an embroidery piece in and it did not fit. Even though the measurements on the package said that was the correct size. The lady kept trying to force it, and the matte kept buckling up. I asked if it could be cut down a bit. She cut it, and still didn't fit. She finally said, "this isn't going to fit". Well, Duh! I waited almost 20minutes for her to cut it. She said, "Well, I have another customer to tend to so can you pay for this up front? ". I told her I was not going to purchase a matte that didn't fit. When she was folding the prongs back on the back of my frame something popped. She said, " Oh, I hope I didn't break the frame or glass! ". I would not take anything there that you value to be framed as she literally had no idea what she was doing. She even had trouble measuring and told me she'd been there a year! So sad that it has diminished so much, I used to LOVE this store.

Best customer care ever! Lyric took such great care of us! He knew his store inside out! I hope his superiors see this post (I have 600,000 followers) and he gets that well earned RAISE! Thanks Lyric! We WILL be back!

I took a cross stitch in to have it framed. First of all, I paid about $70 more (with the 70% discount) than I would have at Hobby Lobby. I know this because I took it to Hobby Lobby, but they were out of stock on the frame I needed. I didn't mind as much since they did have the frame, but when I went to pick it up, it looked horrible. They did not stretch the cross stitch, so it would lie flat, so it was noticeably bumpy. Then the mat was not cut correctly, so it covered some of the picture. I couldn't believe the shoddy work that had been done. They did send it back out, and it was corrected when I picked it up the second time, but I will not return to have future pictures framed by them. The people were very nice, so that did help in getting it corrected.

Didn't find anything. Shelves were empty not much in stock. Store almost feels like its going to close or out of business? I hope not!

Nice store. A little smaller than the one I had previously gone to but still good selection and good service.

Lots of empty shelves. Poor selection of hemp. Boy howdy though if you want Fiskars products or a Cricut there's dozens and dozens and dozens. Big corporate retail is depressing. Check out Busy Beaver Arts & Crafts on Dayton Xenia Road before you come here!

They used to have a lot more home decor than what they have right now. But I still love this place.

I love these stores, but I need for them to fix their lighting. PLEASE! It's just too dark!

I went there for frame help and got quoted custom frames and sold some sized ones. They helped me measure all my photos and posters.

There is a huge selections of items for crafts, framing, etc. There's always sales and clearance items in the front of the store.

Friendly staff and short wait times for checking out! They have a plethora of craft materials and most of it is very reasonably priced
