The 2 stars is just because how friendly the workers are here (other than the lady in the office she's fairly rude) if you scrap metal I strongly suggest to choose another yard.reasons being there prices are bottom dollar 30 cents on cans several yards Ive gone to in surrounding areas cans are 50 to, 60 cents there copper being 2 dollar #1 clean 1.80 #2 is low McKees will give you 2.20 for #1 2.00 for #2 sheet metal here stays around 140 a ton McKees 170 a ton 180 short iron. Plus there yard is ridiculous tiny you can get stuck there for an hour with just another truck or two scrapping at the same time.the only way I'd recommend going to this yard is if you live in Union furnace bc obviously the drive to McKees or cullisons obviously would even out your pay out because of gas expense another reason to go to this yard is if you're loaded with battery's they do pay well for battery's other yards paying 5$ each and they're typically 7: 50 to 10. Just my opinion don't always take the first offer cullisons McKees hines avoid Michel's if you want a good pay out

You get paid for all your weight here I work at a place with a scale and they have always been right on so you can get a dime more at the other place and get shorted 500lb on the ton
