Brake Shop Midas reviews
20Midas did a great job when I came in. It was shortly before closing and they were able to service my vehicle without an appointment. I had an oil change done and they gave me the discounted/coupon price before I inquired about it. I’m very pleased and will be back next time I need service to my vehicle.
I can not express my gratitude enought for the team here at the Riverside Drive Midas. Not only did they greet me with quick, professional, and friendly service, they told me my options and helped fix the isses on my car with efficacy and quality while remaining within my budget. I had gone to the dealership and the quoted my a couple Thousand Dollars! I was able to fix a few things myself, and Gabe and the Team at Midas took care of the rest! Again I cannot express my gratitude enought for you service!
- Greatful Customer
So. Went online & got coupon for oil change AND tire rotation included. Registered for an appointment for same and showed up and dropped car off @ Midas Riverside Dr.near Trabue. They had me in the system as registered for the coupon. Came back to pick up car and didn't see where tires had been rotated, so I asked if tires were rotated. Response: "You didn't ask for that when you dropped car off", even though I registered for same with the coupon online. Even though I said I was there for my "online appointment". Even though they "charged" me for it. Guy was snarky to boot. Won't be back. They are in need of some serious customer service training.
Excellent customer service- by far the best, most affordable and efficient oil change and alternator replacement I've ever had! Zack (manager) goes the extra mile to make sure customers are taken care of here. Will be recommending this location to all of my friends and family:)
Very friendly staff and overall great experience. They did a great job repairing my brakes and kept me informed every step of the way.
The guy at the front counter is awesome.very polite.but I went in for an oil change.took an hour and a half. I get it.you get what you pay for but this Midas is just as awful as the rest.guys in the shop were on their phones and had to be told to get to work multiple times.and all Midas does is recommend stuff that is unimportant and overpriced. I can go to any local mechanic shop and get all the work done for half the cost or cheaper.thanks for the cheap oil change but I'd NEVER let you work on my car for anything else
Work was done relatively quickly, price was more than expected, staff was knowledgeable and friendly. May shop around for estimates next time, but happy to have it all done.
Very friendly! And honest. G go figure that 1 out. You just don't see that much anymore. I will be returning
Great experience! I had a flat tire and they were able to fix it quickly and without charging me (I had read about free tire repair on the other reviews, but I assumed it was only if you bought your tires from them. Free tire repair, EVEN if you did not buy your tires there originally.) People were friendly, professional, and accommodating. If I ever have problems again, I'll be using their services again!
Had to wait a short time to get my oil changed and my cabin filter but staff was friendly. And always like how they let u know any problems but are not pressured to buy anything.
Don't trust this midas touch, they told me they could get me in at 12. I asked for 1230 they said yes. I get there wait 15 minutes to get checked in. Then he says he can't start working on my car right away. I'm like, what's the point of an appointment then? Then he tells me he can get it done earlier, so i go for a walk and i come back 45 minutes later to see that my car has NOT moved and the mechanics are all smoking in the back. I had to leave so after an hour, i left with nothing but disappointment.
Good service, I needed an oil change and possibly an alignment. Got my oil changed and they said I don’t need an alignment but called out an issue with a tire. Seemed reasonably priced to me and didn’t take any longer than anywhere else. Appreciated the tire tip and will return when its time to replace it.
I had a $15 off coupon so gave them a chance. They did my oil change in a quick time frame. However, I asked them about the tire pressure light when I was asking about the oil change and they said they would address that, but they did not. The light was still on afterward and I didn't notice until I was driving away. But they DID manage to suggest $900 worth of repairs. I left feeling they were more interested in future money than in taking care of the little thing I asked about. I will most likely not go back.
So this is the second time I've been here and both times I've made appointments and it took them over an hour and a half to do a simple oil change. The staff is very nice and I assume very knowledgeable but it should not take this long. In addition to that the second time which is today they put the wrong oil in and had to redo it. Had I not told them about it I would have been having an engine seized up because they made a mistake.
Giving an extra star for the man working the front desk, who was very polite and helpful. Outside of that, I went in to have a vehicle inspection. They provided me with a list of recommended maintenance and gave me a quote for the price. However, after picking up my car, I quickly realized that something was wrong – I had several warning lights on and now my cruise control doesn't work. I'm not sure how this happened, as they were just supposed to perform an inspection. With this and the high-priced quote they gave me, I'll be going somewhere else with my car.
Very friendly staff! The work is honest and the workers do a good job. Even if you have questions they’ve been attentive to assist and answer to the best of their knowledge.
Number One; They repair tire leaks for free.
They repaired a large slit (I ran over the blade of a broken scissor which many wouldn't have tried to plug) on my tire with 55,000 miles on it and they didn't even try to sell me a new one (as most facilities would).
Number Two; They open at 7: 30 am with coffee ready.
As of now, they have a new manager which may solve some earlier problems. (No offense to the previous manager. This visit is my first.)
The bay's are clean and neat. As the son of a mechanic, I know that is a sign of professional workmanship.
They now perform most mechanical and minor bodywork services.
I don't know anyone at this or any Midas location.
We have went in for many different reasons. At first it was just oil changes and that was fine. But everything bigger we’ve went for they have seriously over charged us. As well as talked down to us.
We have two completely different cars and somehow have ended up with the same issues on both cars after taking them in.
- flat tires (right after getting new ones)
- tire gauge stopped working (only right after getting them from Midas)
- power steering went out IN BOTH CARS after getting them worked on there!
DO NOT GO THERE! New issues will come up and they will crazy over charge you to fix it (even though they most likely caused it)
Obviously dishonest. Overpriced.
Went here to get my muffler replaced. They cost about $400 which was at least $200 more than independent local shops (but I needed my car and had to pay). I called ahead to set things up/pay ahead of time. I was offered a discount before I agreed to go with them.
When I got there and it was time to pay, The man at the desk/phone seemingly “forgot” to take off the $150 he said he would on the phone for me, and when I told him I have the receipt/quote they had emailed me earlier to prove it, he replied, “what, you don’t trust me? ” As if he’s offended that I’m a capable human being who makes sure to get what has been promised me.
My advice: don’t go here. But if you have to, be sure to keep all your receipts and quotes. Don’t get blindsided by employees who smooth talk you out of your wallet.
If I could leave Zero stars, I would.
I went here for tires. Pre paid - because they said I had to. Waited 2 weeks for the tires that never came. I'd call them to check on the status and they just blew me off like I was being unreasonable or annoying.
I had to dispute the $200+ charge with my bank to get my money back, since I paid for the tires but never received them. This place is a royal joke!
