Midas, Columbus OH

I really like this Midas. The employee and manager are always really nice to me and I don't feel ripped off when I go there. Have gotten oil changes, new tires, and wiper blades done here.

Went to get a tire repaired that I bought from a Midas 2 years ago today. Had a warranty on the tire, but they said they couldn't honor the warranty because I hadn't gotten my free tire rotation every 5,000 miles. I had 25,000 miles left on that tire warranty. The tire needs replaced, so I agree to get a tire put on. The guy tells me over the phone that all 4 of my tires are "legally bald" and that I should replace all of them. Is "legally bald" an actual term, seriously dude your attempt at scare tactics to get me to buy 4 tires? Said the 2/32 measurement or under is what all my tires were. Anyways, after learning that I could go to a different store and get 4 tires and an actual warranty be honored (recommendation from a friend who has been a customer for years), I called back and said I did not want to proceed with getting the tire, also was pretty sure my treads were fine and I was being lied to. So I picked up my car, took it home, looked at my treads. They my front wheels were more worn, but Lincoln's head on a penny was still well covered on the back tires, and the front were still acceptable tread length for right now.

I took my car in for an oil change and a wheel alignment at 10 am and they instantly got my car in before i even left and then called me about an hour later and told me other things had to happen before my wheel alignment could. Normally auto shops would’ve done the wheel alignment just to get my money but they looked out and told me everything that needed to be done. Very nice too, especially josh, pretty sure he’s the manager too. Wasn’t happy i couldn’t get an alignment but i left with a smile on my face just because they were so nice

DO NOT GET YOUR VEHICLE SERVICED AT THIS SHOP. They checked out my car because of a noise I was having. They told me my cv boot was torn, I would need all of my struts replaced and a new battery. And it would cost me over $3000 for the repair. I took it to another mechanic and there was no problem with the cv boot or the struts. The noise was coming from worn brake pads. The only thing this company got right was that I needed a battery. IT WOULD BE FOOLISH TO TRUST THEM!

On March 4th, 2020 my car overheated and I was able to get the car to this shop. Stated the issue, possible leak of coolant, possibly a head gasket issue. They replaced the coil packs which cost me $1000. Manager stated it was fine, and no head gasket crack. And as soon as I came back and replaced the sensors, it would be fine. Lo and behold, it over heated, and I took it to a local mechanic, who did confirm my fear; it was the head gasket. And if they paid attention when they replaced the coil package, which you could see into the engine you would have saw the coolant pooling in there. They ran the exhaust and of course Midas said they did too. Then why did the other mechanic immediately notice the sweet smell of exhaust coming out. And of course, that was due to the antifreeze going through my exhaust. But you know Midas checked it. I called to say that they were incorrect and the manager was no help. Never mind their price of parts is 30% higher than what the mechanic gave. Never again will I go to a Midas store. Lesson learned

I love the people here they stayed after closing to finish my car so I would have it today instead of waiting till Monday how great is that It has been a long time since I have been happy with a mechanics and service THANK YOU guys sorry bad with names but thanks again the manager

Come for a $21.47 oil change and leave without spending a dime more. No high pressure sales tactics. Just the straight forward truth and payment options for extended work. Professional, thorough, workmanship.

I have been used to today's normal customer service where no "thank you for shopping with us" or, your change thrown at you along with the receipt. Today, once again, I choose Midas at 3264 West Broad, Cols, OH to have a scheduled service preformed on my vehicle. Josh, and crew, showed their understanding for what customer service is all about. Full explanation of what my vehicle's problems were, all the options available, a thorough plan offered and submitted to me for a final decision. No pressure, plain responsive answers to my questions and then a double check of the agreed maintenance. The services were provided in a timely manner and all the courtesy extended that a consumer could ask for. I trust the service I received and know that with all the assurances given to me, the maintenance was a true value. I suggest that you look here for your vehicle service needs, clean and appropriate facilities are included. Thanks again W. Broad Midas, I am sure to see you as my vehicle requires.

Bad long long wait 2 hours to get my oil changed. I told him to rotate my tires and they said they couldn't do it if the with all my good to rotate. I said it was losing are on the driver's front tire. I asked them not to change the sensor on my car cuz I couldn't afford $69 to have it fit to fix the problem why the tire was losing hair they took the sensor off anyway now my tire pressure light is on on my car.never going back to Midas ever don't go unless you want to spend a lot of money and waste your day for people to tell you that you have to spend money that you don't have to spend anywhere ladies cuz you guys are out to get us because we are not so smart.

I have been taking my vehicles here for years and have always gotten great service. The new manager and his team were outstanding this past week. I had an appointment for repairs on Saturday. When things became suddenly worse I took my vehicle to them in a panic on Friday. They not only worked me into their busy schedule that same day but even had a tech drive me home and pick me up at the end of the day. This manager and staff care about the customers! I highly recommend.

I been sitting here for a hour car has not been looked at and 3 ppl before me and 30 mins later first one left need more ppl

These guys were awesome! I came in with a flat half an hour before they closed and they made time to help me out. I knew that the flat probably couldn’t be patched, due to the nature of the puncture. They agreed and explained all my different options. Since they couldn’t get my exact tire in for a couple days, I explained that I was going to take it to the dealer where the tires were in stock. They were totally cool with it and didn’t pressure me at all. They offered to put my spare on so I could make it safely to the dealer, and refused to take any money, even when I offered cash. Stand up guys, great shop!

Fast service but expensive for the labor, manager was friendly and didn't try to sell or scare me into buying 100 things I didn't need, shop was clean

Thought the cold weather was altering my tire pressure only to realize that I actually had a screw in my rear tire. The guys at Midas Auto Services (3263 W Broad St, Columbus OH) were very kind to make the repair with no appointment and at zero cost. Totally unexpected, but very much appreciated after a long work day and a rainy commute home. Definitely won’t think twice about visiting again.

I used to live on this side of town and took my first car into the shop to get some work done and theyve been great ever since. I always come out here even though its not the closest midas to me. The managers are well informed and provide great service. The staff is great all around and I feel safe bringing my car into the shop.

These guys are the best. I bought a $1000 used car, and it needed a lot of work. Tj and Josh were able to thoroughly check my car over, give me an list of the problems, and start with the most important to least important repairs to get it running right. Great, fast service, very professional and they don’t bs to get you to do unnecessary work. My car now runs beautifully, and I’m so thankful that I’ve found a great place to take my car.
