Middlefield MFG reviews
14Extremely helpful people and very knowledgeable. They also stock high quality accessories like gas cans, fluid film, ect.
Staff is super knowledgeable and friendly. The part they didn't have they were able to order right away. They also listed the parts we might need on our receipt which came in very useful later on.
My go to for Kubota parts, bought my zero turn here couple years ago and still have them service to this day. Expert service & advice and a very helpful sales staff, I will be going there first when I decide to finally get my big yard tractor, they just don’t know it yet
Started off rocky in begining but Dan gave me a crash course after he serviced my 2015 Kubota bx1850.gets delivered tomorrow.can't wait
Very nice tractor dealership. The salesperson we spoke with was very nice and extremely knowledgeable! I have not actually purchased anything yet, but our initial visit was very enjoyable!
Buyer beware. They will sell you a tractor that is not designed-in its current iteration-to operate reasonably Northern Ohio, then stick you with a repair bill on a brand new tractor that experiences diesel runaway within 125 hours. They will also be sure to tell you "this is your fault, " and "it was cold out. " Simultaneously, their on-the-road mechanic acknowledges that there is a significant design flaw that is causing the issue-and he had seen it before. The representative at their Mentor store that I spoke with also acknowledged the absurdity of the response from both Middlfield MFG and Kubota's District Service leadership.
They claim to stand behind their customers and their product-their actions speak louder than their words. This was the second tractor I have purchased from them (I had no issues with the first one in much colder conditions-or any of the other 100's of diesel trucks and tractors that I've been around in my lifetime), I had intentions of being a loyal customer. I refuse to accept that new tractor has all of these problems just because its cold, and I didn't warm it up for 30+ minutes (their recommendation). They are willing to die on a $500 hill-so am I. Kubota and MFG will not have your back, and cannot be relied upon.
I encourage you not to write this off as "sour grapes. " The tractor in question is an MX series. It is an issue, and will be an issue for you as well.
Edit: You will see in their response below they are settling on the "warm up times" per the user manual. Their own mechanic advised that those times were not sufficient to avoid the issue due to a design flaw. At the end of the day, nearly any other tractor would have performed in that situation, in those temperatures, with the warm-up it was given. Middlefield MFG and Kubota are well within their right to dispute the issue, but just be aware that this is not isolated to my MX, and their response is a solid indication of the customer service you can expect when something goes wrong.
I just purchased a new Sidekick from Middlefield MFG and highly recommend this dealership to anyone interested in Kubota equipment. The salesman, Ryan Ivans, was very helpful regarding questions I had and providing information about this machine. Middlefield is just over an hour away from my home but the dealership made the drive well worth the time. I regret not visiting this dealership when I purchased my Kubota tractor a year ago.
Very pleased with my new Kubota tractor and my salesman Matt. We bought are first Kubota tractor from MFG 22yrs ago and it has been the most reliable piece of equipment we have ever owned.
Bought a saw from them. Used it for about a month (used all the appropriate oils and bar lube) Then the saw broke. Took it back and after weeks of fighting with them and them admitting that I didn't do anything wrong, still will not honor the warranty. Do not expect them the stand behind their product. Plus do not expect them to call you back in a timely manner.
Just bought a Kubota bx23s and it's great. Great customer service! Highly recommend the product and the dealership.
Not very helpful wanted to buy a set of forks for their tractor should they didn't have ask about what are Kubota would be worth he said he had no idea. So I guess so we won't be trading it in there for a new one
Great place to purchase equipment.
The ladies in service and finance are wonderful to do business with.
Matt in sales, is prompt to return calls if you miss him first time.
Thumbs up!
Can't say anything bad about the guys that work behind the counter at the parts dept, Especially Bill. He bent over backwards to help me. BUT, they had to special order a part (hydraulic system poppet) because they did not have it in stock. I waited 5 business days to get it and after I picked it up from MFG and got home, I realized that I did not need it. I never put it in my tractor. It was still new! I called and asked if I could return it. Bill Told me "yes" but I would be charged 15% restocking fee. I agreed. A few hours later, He called and told me that "Steve" the manager told him that they wouldn't take it back at all. So, I'm out $30.00+ for a part I didn't even use. I will write Kubota Corporate and let them know why they lost a loyal customer for many years all because of their unfair return policy. I'll go to Bortnik's or Messick' s from now on. Thanks Steve!
By far the best trade-in and new purchase of a tractor! The MFG Team were GREAT! I would highly recommend them. They took the time to listen to what I was looking for and helped guide me to the model that would fit my needs. Upon getting my new tractor they took the time to walk me over the unit and help teach me things. The MFG team really wanted to make sure I was happy and had the knowledge of my new tractor. They are my go to source for all my tractor and service needs.
