Great Lakewood institution. Ron is an excellent barber and very nice as well. And there are always very interesting things to look at and buy. Highly recommend.

Showed up to get my haircut. It says it's open at 8: 00 a.m. I have been there once before and Ron cut my hair and he gave me his cell number and I waited till 5: 00 after 8: 00 in the morning outside and called him and he wanted to know why I had his number and who I was and I told him and then he told me they don't open till 10: 00 a.m. Never to call that number again and he hung up on me so I wouldn't give them one star if it was possible

As of today, (12/18/2021). Mike’s has a Covid-19 protocol when you want to get a cut:

There is a small driveway (enter on Cordova) that wraps around his little shop. This is you line up and wait in your car till you are called in. If you entered the ‘Do not enter’ drive, well, that’s not mike’s driveway.

Ron is the best barber around. My fiancé and I stumbled upon his little shop while out and he was desperate for a haircut. Ron did such an amazing job with his fade and beard trim. He was so professional, kind, and easy to talk to. I highly recommend!

This place is an absolute gem. Gold, I tell you! Ron is a top-class barber and an even better human being. He's got a little odds and ends market going in there too-my first cut I left with a record (Isaac Haye's soundtrack to Shaft, amazing), and my second trip netted me three hatchets! Who needs three hatchets? Me, apparently.

Been a loyal customer for more than 30 years. Mike's barbers are the best. They are friendly and give the customers what they ask for. I won't go anywhere else.

A small and humble place. Old fashioned. They may not have a lot in the ways of extra services, but if all you need is a simple haircut, you cannot be disappointed.

I’ve been going there for more than a decade. Mike still cuts hair, but only on Sundays. Both Mike and Ron are great. They follow all of the Covid practices. The shop is surrounded by two streets, a parking lot and a driveway. Pull into the lot and then the drive to wait your turn. When the car in front of you leaves, pull your car up, put on your mask and go into the shop.

Ron did a great job and it was a pleasant experience. The shop is fully COVID compliant, please wear a mask. They are closed Wednesdays at the day of writing. Walk ins welcome, and it was a great price.

Guess the name of the barber at Mike's Barber Shop.its Ron. He is a great barber and super friendly. I can see the parking lot from my front porch so I wait till there are no cars in the parking lot and walk down. Ron has been the only barber I have seen cutting hair so the line can get long. The cut is worth the wait, but I have the luxury of waiting and home and walking down.
