Mike's Carwash reviews
15I used the bays first to power wash my truck fender wells and bed and they were great. Lots of soap foam and good pressure. The drive thru wash was good, but the dryers weren’t great. The vehicle was very wet after and needed a wipe down. The vacuums were the worst part. Horrible suction and ridiculously overpriced. Every 2 minutes I had to keep adding time because the suction was so bad I had to go over the same place 4 times.
Typically a great car wash. Unfortunately my Bronco was too wide and I wasn't able to go through.
4 minutes of spot free rinse in the self-service Bay. My car was literally covered in water spots. So bad I had to spray it down at home and wipe it off before heading out.
Two weeks ago, there was no wax. Can't keep up with this one but go and open another one just down the street.
Went to self wash. Control buttons were broken. Hard to get soap to work, then hard to get rinse. Buttons didnt work right. I lost half my time flipping buttons. Not good
I never realized I had to ask for services I paid to receive. The concept of customer service, along with people skills come into great question.
I was schooled by teenagers that since I paid for the full service package, I had to ask each visit for them to provide what I paid for. Furthermore, when said teenagers continued to school me that the services to which I paid was being provided, but I needed to ask for them to to be provided upon my arrival.
I could immediately see the conversation was going no where by using common sense (I'm sure this cryptic experience for them will be blasted on tiktok or Instagram, which was most important).
Thankfully, said teenage manager ultimately, yet reluctantly, agreed to give me a refund for the book I purchased for services I paid for yet had to ask for.
Common sense and customer service is definitely a thing of the past.
My car always needs to go back through, it doesnt get very clean. I don't take it back through, it is what it is.
Wash my car here once or twice a week when my time permits. What can I say that isn't already being said? Severe decline in quality. Self service pumps are always doing something, leaking at the handle, not working, no spot free, soap is either awesome or non-existant etc etc. Was waiting today, watch entire pump system go down. No more self service. I guess I no longer have a choice other than to buy a pressure washer, and do it myself at home.
I do self wash never automated. Mikes has always been my go to, However the last several times I have been very disappointed with their spotless rinse it has not worked at all. I usually go after hours. I just pulled in my garage a few miles away and YEP water stains everywhere. Beechmont location has really been slipping in quality of service lately Please just do not offer the distilled water spotless rinse. Very frustrating that is not available and no signs up stating such.
I will ask for my 5.00 back tomorrow
One of the best for a drive thru carwash. Only ones that beat it are the ones that towel dry your car. There's not that much that needs to be dried, but these systems aren't perfect.
They seem to do a better job of rinsing at Mike's than other car washes. That is import to the finish of the car.
I usually love to bring my car and my truck here this time around it didn't clean my car very well they had to pause a few times and I think it may have caused my car not to get clean.
I've been coming here for years with all my personal vehicles and my work truck all the time. Least once a week. I'm here with a vehicle and the beechmont location is falling apart. Literally I had a giant spring come down and hit my tailgate of my truck which my truck is a 2022 Dodge ram brand new spring is about a foot long. It connects to the hose in the self-service bay so now there's damage to my paint
Went again today. Was very impressed with team that took there time to get to extra dirty spots out before sending me thru the car wash.
The vacuuming machines have low suction, waste more time and money trying to get the work done. Tire shining nonetheless is shady; only sprays visible patches on 3 if not 2 tires.
I was met by a very pleasant young man who took my payment. My car had been attacked by a large group of angry birds a few days ago. It was awful. The guy and his workmate used their wands to get most every speck of yuck off my car before I even got into the wash. Very much appreciated. Highly recommend this place.
