Mikes Cycle & Skate - Bicycle and Skate Shop reviews
10I came and got my bike tire fixed for 70$ twice and wheel falls off within 30-60 days.they need warranty’s
A real bike shop with knowledgeable and helpful staff! Each experience with them has been a joy.
Colton and Dan were very helpful. Had my daughters bike where the sproket had snapped. They had it fixed and replaced in no time. Dropped what they were doing to fix it so I did not have to wait. Very friendly. Treated me like family. Will definitely use them for all my bike and skateboard needs in the future!
Came in for a inner tube. $5 to replace. Real friendly service from Mike himself.
Sold used & new bikes.
I bought in a bike wheel I was having issues with. Both Colton and Don spoke to me about the cause, and quickly and accurately explained why the issue happened. They then demonstrated how to fix it, ensuring that I understood. Outstanding customer service.
Brought in two bike within a few weeks of each other. Service was fine but customer service was poor. I received a voicemail that the bike was ready stating they had called before in a condescending tone. When I came to pick it up (the next day they were open), I said I hadn’t received any calls about the bike and the response I received was less than professional. I hope the best for this company but will not return.
I took my grandson’s bike in the other day to get the chain fixed. Adam was extremely friendly and had it back on in 30 seconds. Didn’t try to sell me something I didn’t need. This place has great service. I think I found my new bike shop.
Entire staff is friendly, attentive, appreciative and knowledgeable. Been here for multiple tuneups and new parts. Also matched me with bike that fits my riding style.
This goes for the Huber Heights store.
My son bought a BMX bike (which is NOT cheap) from a shop in Kettering. He wanted to add pegs and a sprocket to make it look cool. The Mike's bike shop on 1st street sent him to the Huber store for peg installation saying it would cost $10 since we bought it from the same company. He got there and the older gentleman argued saying it was $30. OK, fine.whatever! On a separate visit he had the sprocket installed in which was installed and put back together incorrectly causing the back tire to skew, rubbing the frame. We spent well over $500 for this bike and they have made me angry and disappointed to have shopped there.
Between the attitude and lack of knowledge of this staff they won't survive long. I hope the employees get their act together so other people won't feel the same way.
