Milford Eye Care

Was a customer for many years to Milford Eye Care. Spent tons of money on services and glasses. Became very good friends with a couple of the girls. One day I called the store and asked if my eyeglass order was ready, and was told no, that it wasn’t yet, and as I was saying “thank you, bye”, I was rudely hung up on, without the employee acknowledging me at all! I then receive a phone call saying all their calls are recorded, and that they will be listening to the tape very shortly. Well, 2 days later, I receive a call from an employee saying they listened to the tape and she did NOT hang up on me! Then, I was told that they would no longer be able to see me or my immediate family as patients in their office.
Have since gone to another Eye Doctor, and found out that Milford Eye Care had totally messed up my eyesight prescription for glasses and had misdiagnosed my contact lens prescription as well!

BEWARE!

Terrible office. Told me they would take care of getting my contacts set up, never placed the order out never contacted me about payment. Complete waste of time to go to this place.

Professional and efficient service. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They were patient and understanding with my teenage daughter getting her first pair of glasses.

I didn’t have a local eye doctor and went here a few weeks ago with an eye injury. They saw me that day and helped me. Dr. McBride is compassionate and takes the time to listen to you and find the best solution. The entire staff has been caring and helping me through this injury and having to change my contact and glasses prescription. Will continue to go here! Highly recommended!

Our family has been coming to them for years. Always professional, respectful and kind. I know the from my recent crisis they shared genuine concern, and will laugh with you, not at you. I love that!

I went in for an eye exam not long ago. I only spoke with two people, and I told both of them that I'd be ordering glasses online. I'm a sponsored athlete and need to order my glasses through my sponsor. I told the eye doctor about this during the exam. They still neglected to give me all the measurements I need to make an order. Now they want me to make another appointment and pay for another visit.follow up: Obviously, I refused to go back to Milford Eye Care. I had to contact about a dozen offices who would take the measurement MEC didn't do. I kept hearing that this is a basic measurement that is always included in the eye exam. I finally found an optician who would do it for $30. They don't normally take this measurement as a standalone apppointment, but they made an exception for me when they heard my story.

I’ve visited both Optometrists and had a great experience. I’m usually scared of the eye doctor but they both made it an easy and pleasant experience.

The office staff are a joy to work with and everyone is so kind. Dr McBride is amazing - she takes the time to listen to you and your concerns - Ohio State Grad does us Proud!
