Doesn’t have enough parking for tenants they will make you park out in the street at night with the possibility of getting a ticket

If you don’t smoke, I don’t recommend this place at all. They don’t clean the walls before painting over any past residue and it will be obvious in the poorly ventilated bathrooms. We had sludge dripping from our walls even after several deep cleanings months after moving in.

On top of that, the buildings are old and they will use the age as an excuse for poor ventilation, freezing pipes, and the like.

I also do not recommend this place for pet owners as the pet deposit and rent is very high for the sq footage and minimal amount of carpet (in bedroom only). I just cannot imagine them using the full $600 non refundable deposit + $60 monthly pet rent for anything that my two cats could have done in the 500sq ft unit.just seems like a straight money grab for them which is scummy imo.

Also do not plan to live with anyone else in the 1 bedrooms as you will not get a 2nd parking space. This was never clear in the lease and a pain to deal with as there is not street parking anywhere nearby. They will not be flexible on this and are not open to letting 2bd tenants lending out their spots.

There’s roughly 10-15 guest spots for the whole complex and I think tenants rely on all of those since they were filled every night, usually by the same cars. This is something you must be mindful of if you plan to have guests over. We regularly had to request our friends to carpool when we wanted to have people over in the evening. Parking is more limited in winter, since the snow maintenance is poor, however if you have a shovel you will probably be able to make yourself a spot.

Lastly, as a heads up, the kitchen cabinets do not have handles and have very little outer grip. So, they are painful to use if you have joint problems, such as arthritis. Also.the cabinets are SO high. I’m 5’1” and could only reach the bottom shelf of the upper cabinets, and only the frontmost part of the shelf. Definitely don’t know who they designed this kitchen for.

We also left our apartment cleaner than what it was on move in and still did not get the full deposit. They are penny pinchers here, so be aware.
